This will be a long one. So, here you go, for those interested:
Hello there CM. As some of you may already know, I was dewhitelisted from CO. I will not elaborate much on the reasoning beyond that: The council and management did not believe I fit in with the new standards of the whitelist. I made some mistakes. If you’re very curious, you may message me privately and I might disclose a full reason. However, I do not desire any blowback on any of the councillors or management. The council especially is full of wonderful people. So, don’t hold anything against them.
Now that I’ve gotten that disclaimer out of the way. CO has gotten to be the only thing I enjoy in CM. Being privileged enough to lead the marines the way I did each round was truly amazing, and easily the best era I ever had in my near decade of CM. It got to the point that, if CO wasn’t available, I’d simply disconnect. Now that there’s no more CO, there’s no more me. I have decided to leave it here. Maybe I pull a Cheng and come back eventually. Maybe not. You can guarantee I’ll be gone at least a few months. I have never felt the need to make a cryosleep post before, as I always knew I’d return eventually. Now, I do not have that feeling. Make of that what you will.
I’d like to take a few moments to highlight all the best moments. My last round as CO was truly a good one. I appreciated being able to do a last speech, a last round, before I take my leave:
I have had so many fun times as CO, so many clips, so many experiences with so many wonderful people. I do also believe that I hold the record for most given medals of any CO in CM history. It nearly crashes my computer to open my “given medals” tab LMAO.
Besides my obvious fun on CO, before I was a CO I was a rifleman. I went through the pred hunting eras, the “ShepTI” era, Tom Dinkle, techwebs.. a long near decade here has shown me a lot of great stuff outside of CO as well. Even my corporate liaison, HRP arc, which I think possibly only William ‘Jester’ Crimson remembers lol.
Onto the people I value. I can mention quite a few people, and it will never be enough, but I’ll give it a try anyways. If I know you, and you don’t get mentioned, do NOT take it personally, I am listing every single person I can think of from nearly a decade of gameplay. This will be LONG, so skip to the end if you don’t care:
Thomas B. Strobia:
My first “student”. I taught him nearly one quarter as much as he taught me of LEAGUE OF LEGENDS later on. He’s been here since the beginning and is one of my favorite people in all of CM, nay all of the internet. Quick learner. Even better friend. Thank you.
Survivor/Pierce Jackson/Tank Moore:
The man who taught me a lot of my fragging, and one of my best friends here. Taught me indepth how to kill preds and is the model for a lot of Dafoe’s style:
As for the pred killing, he later inspired to make my own guide, which I then used to teach quite a few others how to kill preds:
Forever grateful to this dude for everything. I hope he has as much of a blast as I did on CO in the near future.
Spear/Isaiah Colt/Ronnie:
Another old one, one of my best friends. I could never regret CM, knowing it lead me to meeting you. We’ll still be in touch I’m sure.
Doctor Brutality/Edgar Pipe/Edgar Pope/Johnny McHildon:
My minister of propaganda Edgar ‘Pugie’ Pipe, architect of my notoriety and eventual downfall - eventually the manufactured fame turned into genuine infamy. This man made like half the copypastas circulating out there, being both my biggest hater and my biggest supporter simultaneously. On a serious note, a good friend and another person I valued a lot.
Joooks/Johanna Jaakari:
An OG also. Connoisseur of cat videos. Good friend. Sometimes a part-time hater
Spiritoflie/Marisa Grafers:
A hater in spirit, but also a good friend. 
Nivrak/Michelle Richter/Y:
The best maintainer in the entire game hands down. Could always rely on you, and you did actually teach me a thing or two about the game along the line, especially when it came to xeno.
WOE/Roy Briggs:
When I first picked up queen, this was actually the person who taught me the most. When I began playing xeno, WOE was the first tolerable one there. Never had any issues with him, he’s a great dude so he has a spot on this list.
Dreven/Wamakahana Windhealer:
My CO mentor. Taught me everything I know about deploying, and inspired me to use the desert eagle through thick and thin, even when it was an objectively worse option than the mateba, specifically in his honor. I’ll always be grateful to this guy for paving the way for my CO career, and also being my first medal on current timelocks, a short while before my whitelisting in 2021:
Luscao/Isabel Lopits:
Someone I consider a good friend. I haven’t known her as long, maybe less than a year and a half at this point, but I’ve come to value her in that time. Fique seguro, descendente real. Good luck with the ambitions you got going.
SolidFury/William Crimson:
A TRUE OG. This man was probably the first to actually recognize the name “Joe Dafoe” back when I was a CL main. I’ll always value the RP we had in those golden days, chief.
One I will never forget is the round where me and him did experiments on the most LRP marine in CM history. It ended up getting a deathsquad called in to rescue me, the CL, and the CO. The CO got rescued by his own riot team, but I got KILLED by my “rescuers”, because they were clueless. Still one of many amazing rounds with Crimson:
Sandvich/Nasoki Chen:
A solid dude, that despite knowing of for a while, I haven’t really befriended until recently. Either way, the things we did in that short period we knew one another was funny enough that he gets a spot.
Emiix Aegadan/Athena:
In the end, probably one of the most reliable synthetics I could ask for as a CO. It was always a pleasure to have them around. They also designed an ABSOLUTE BANGER of an MP3, Major Dafoe.mp3, pretty much the official theme

Bibby/Thomas Neumann:
Thomas NOOBman. My first new-gen CO buddy once I returned in 2023. We messed around a lot, but I always had a lot of respect for you. You’re a good dude and I wish you all the best.
Kirsh/Malcolm/Braden Stephenson:
It’s not Magic. It’s Malcolm. Solid guy.
Lenny Greenawalt/John ‘Baldo’ Wheeler:
One of my favorite survivor players, despite his constant insistence on dying all the time in the most spectacular away. Like an unwatched toddler, he would stick the fork in the metaphorical power outlet and get capped anytime I looked away when I was on Finn, but I love him for it. Great guy. Have det sjovt, Wheeler.
John Ravioli/Harry ‘The Plan’ Howard:
Another guy who’s been with me since I got my CO whitelist. I will always fondly remember the round(s) where we concocted plans using ChatAI that made absolutely no sense, with quotes such as:
"Alpha Squad:
Task: Secure the northern areas of the station.
Specific Objectives:
Sweep the Research Department for potential threats.
Check the dormitories for any signs of intruders.
Equipment:
Standard marine loadout with an emphasis on close-quarters combat.
Extra flashbangs for room clearing."
He also killed me as CO once! Very honorable.
Slyoski/Aidel Curran:
One of the funniest people on this server hands down. So many funny moments with you through time. One of the best I can think of is “The Guys”, where we hallucinated being in a Truman show thing that the admins helped with:
Gian Conventry:
One of my earliest “students” as well, taught him plenty and he picked it up fast. Since then, a good friend and an even better battle buddy. Appreciate you, chief.
Medium Salad/Forrest Pines:
Nearly moved on from CM, but he was also quite the decent friend. He got my league addiction started by giving me one of his accounts, which I then spent 200 dollars on and had all my credit information on before I got full access to it later. Goes to show how much I trust the guy LMAO.
Swagile/Amira Young:
A super old ex-CO, very trustworthy and great to have along on all rounds. Solid game sense, solid person. See you around.
Spypig123 (silly name)/Steve Murphy:
Mister Murphy, the coolest australian on CM and Medicord extraordinaire. You and medicord are some of the most solid people I’ve met in recent years on CM. Thanks for all the laughs. Maybe I stop in every now and again so you can leave VC the second I join B)
Soygeu/Eddie Bugshaw:
Friend of Aidel, great guy all around. Can always count on him for the realest opinions known to man.
NovaCypher/Jake Blackburn:
Best SEA OAT. Solid guy to have with you. I can’t think of a single time I saw him under my command where I wasn’t happy he was there.
MaximusRex/Jackson Dee/GRUG:
Dee oh Dee, we’ve had our times have we not? From the elden days to current era, where we battled the “metagaming” allegations and I got permabanned. Without your help and a few other people naturally, that might have been the end of me right there! So you extended my gameplay for an entire year. You’re a solid guy and I wish you absolutely all the best. Catch you around.
Harrysno/Michael Calhoun:
One of my favorite CIC COs. Solid guy with “L RIZZ” as the kids say. One of the better people I met upon my return to CM. Stay safe.
Mr.Lambini/Marcus Johnson:
Possibly the biggest hypeman in CM history. Great guy, and despite his insistence that Dafoe was a hero IC, HE is an actual hero IRL.
Nekosam/Sakura/Va’stba:
My favorite predator! The only one my hunter, Nall’kro respects and likely will continue to be the only one he ever respects. Great times only with you man. Stay safe.
CONCLUSION:
I could go on forever and ever and ever, there’s so many people that I can’t dream of fitting them in without writing an entire novel, but the times I’ve had here are truly irreplaceable, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Reiterating once more, if I know you and you weren’t mentioned, feel free to DM me and I’ll give you a personal goodbye that way instead.
