Bootleg stimulant that must be taken before a push.
Resists pain from brute damage and heals it away to keep you mobile,
but requires you to dodge acid attacks to make up for it.
Strengths:
Long lasting healing and painkilling.
Lasts a minute longer than an UNGA flask.
Quick intake.
Eating a pill is faster than drinking a whole flask.
Lads, is just a OD cap MB pill with Oxy built in. This is intended medical balance, countered by the PITA to make and distribute unmarked pills to marines, chemvendor power, and the fact Emergency Pens exist.
It even shares the same issue as E-pens, if you have any bica in your system when you take this pill, instant OD. Atleast med rework lets you puke the OD away.
Either there’s a wiki error or UNGA’s healing rate per damage type is not 3HP/s

IMO painkillers should always be stacked with regenerative drugs. Damage is a source of pain. Painkillers let me ignore damage up to a threshold; Regenerative drugs remove the source of pain. If the source of pain is not treated, I am continuously stacking up combat damage up to that threshold, which is what happens when traditional UNGA stops healing me.
@Up2Something makes a valid point about the OD issue. There’s still Oxycodone left in my system after I take UNGA.
Here’s a recipe that’s tuned for metabolic balance.
Comparing traditional UNGA with it’s Oxy tuned variant reveals a 55 second period of vulnerability when the healing and painkilling is out of sync.

This is a personal vulnerability. Most marines would prefer the lefover Oxy in their system.

But regardless of how the traditional recipe is tuned, a flask of UNGA still heals for less than a minute. A push may last longer than 2 minutes, and the drugs wearing off forces me to pull out of the front line too soon to get a refill and burn through the FOB’s UNGA supply to fill up my six flasks. ᵇˡᵃᵐᵉ ʲᵘⁿᵏᶦᵉ ʲᵒⁿᵉˢ ᶠᵒʳ ᵗʰᵃᵗ
UNGA can be tuned to further extend it’s duration to reduce the frequency of juggling my drugs to pre-med myself, but at the cost of healing rate and versatility. Then it becomes Emergency Autoinjector, something marines get in limited supply to prevent them from accidentally overdosing themselves from poorly timed doses. The original injector also has unbalanced ratios. (Bica Kelo Oxy 3:3:2)
no no I mean, why make anything but unga version for pills for marines. You cut out the burn part for instance and marines have to find something else to help with burns.
The drug can be tuned. Meralyne can be swapped out for either Tricordazine, Kelotane, or Dermaline to treat burns, but the drug will always prioritize duration for reduced pre-med frequency. As a personal preference, I wear light armor and I’m always dodging acid attacks and getting clawed and need to constantly treat brute damage. There’s a bit of burn resistance in light armor.
For versatility you need a 2:2:1 mixture of Brute heal, Burn heal, and Painkillers which should last long, but its not at max duration. This can easily be produced by taking a bucket with you and raiding the FOB Wey-Med. ᵇˡᵃᵐᵉ ʲᵘⁿᵏᶦᵉ
