So over my 12 years of playing CM (true fact look it up on Bing), I’ve noticed the new ‘meta’ developing of groups of 1-2 marines roaming the backline looking for xenos to kill, and I think this is really bad for the overall gameplay and community. I’ve come up with a new idea to restrict this sort of gameplay without the entire squad being involved.
The squad leader now gets a leash, if they click on a marine in their squad with it that marine will be forced to stay within 10 meters of the SL. This encourages squad based gameplay and improves morale severely.
I hope you guys enjoy my idea, please do thumbs up emojis when I PR this later in April.
Literally any other way? Hello?
I mean like, this is just me personally but you could just like, make marine’s shoes vanish when their SL isn’t within 10 tiles, exposing their little wiggly toes and bare feet for everyone to see, which would obviously slow them down and like, let xenos frac and slice off their stinky, naked ankles.
Overall it’d achieve the same effect, and I think it’d honestly be a superior idea to whatever the fuck you’re trying to cook up here.
Please stop projecting onto me, I’d appreciate it if you stop using bad faith arguments against me when I’m just trying to help you.
I mean that could work, sure. But that’s not accurate to the setting! Why would marines shoes randomly vanish, that makes no sense IC. In Aliens you can clearly see Hicks throughout the movie with a collar and leash which is being held by Apone off-screen. (As seen in the image below). Obviously in this scene it was after Apone died, so Gorman is probably holding it.
There’s an uncomfortable amount of sexual tension in this scene which is only further exacerbated by the presence of the collar (which also has a fucking bell on it)
why did OP specifically choose to show this scene?
OP you’re a freak, a freakster of the worst kind who needs to be segregated from the rest of the general population
