Marines, what are your hotkeys?

In a new stage of marine cope, I’m hoping that “just one more hotkey” will make me win every game ever.

Looking to hear what people have set for hotkeys especially with belt and pouch interactions, but anything generally works.

The only thing I know how to set up is pick-says so looking for anything outside of that.

default, still fragging out more than everyone else

Most important to least (clearly):

Control + 4 - EXTREMELY important voice line macro

Shift + C - special action

F2 to F4 - all the command orders but I put move and hold out of order : )

Arrow keys - for movement : ))))))))) rebind WASD to something else also be left-handed

No other keys matter. Except gun safety, make sure you bind it to whatever key is next to your “use in-hand” key so you can always accidentally turn your gun safety on.

IDK what you run as SL tbh. Probably most useful general binds would be whatever the “stow first available” action is, pulling primary/secondary, pull from left pocket pouch if you have flares or anything and have the draw first available option. Depending on gun, toggle rail attachment and toggle underbarrel might also be useful if you use flamer, GL, or scope

Actually this reminds me it’d be cool if it were possible to save different keybinds for different profiles since my IO and SG ones look different from any other role.

5 for webbing (when I use pistol holster webbing)
G for belt (Not willing to shrink my brain by using hotkeys to reload. I use it for m39 belt holster)
H right pouch slot (On the offchance I take a machete)
C for back slot to use my secondary
E obviously is just used for my primary

` key (above tab) to cycle through limbs

V - Toggle underbarrel?
C- Toggle Rail?

R- *hiss for larva (but devs hate fun sadly)

other than that i guess none.

a mess, to put it frankly

e for toggle stock

e for primary

shift e for secondary

f for tertiary

shift f for quarternary

v for underbarrel

n for resist (i accidentally pressed b once 2 years ago trying to swap to underbarrel extinguisher and stunned myself in front of a xeno and died, never ever happening again and resist stays on n forever)

v for slime with other hand, for quick reloads

b is look up

spec abilities on f3 and f4

about 100000 different emotes on my shift/alt/ctrl + 1-0 inputs

anything not listed is default.

C unique action
Shift y for belt interact
Y for other hand interact
I for webbing interact
B for armor interact
G for right pouch interact [grenade pouch]
Shift b for resist
Ctrl e for knife
F for pickup

And for swapping weapons, this isnt as much a hotkey as a method

Q + E (drop then unholster) for magharned weapon into back weapon
E + E (holster holster) for second/third/etc weapon to armor weapon
Q + E for tertiary weapon into armor weapon
Q + E + Q + E for tertiary into magharned suit slot into back/belt slot weapon
Q + E + Q + E + Q + E tertiary (offhand weapon) into magharned into belt/back slot into magharned into third slot weapon (ie pistol holster)

Q + E is the easiest way to quickswap and keep things tidy in your inventory, it creates impressive swap speeds at 0 effort and helps a lot with intuitively understanding weapon swapping

For reloading MOU or m79
cxzYyyyxcz, that keyboard combo exactly and the timing is easy to get if you take your hand off the mouse to do the Yyyy (so you dont have to twist ur pinky hitting the shift key and y from 3 miles away)

It also helps to add dead presses which you spend an amount of time on (like the z in the start) to help you make the timing on certain keypresses because the server registers inputs laggily (and also keyboard too sometimes, especially around the shift key), and sometimes eats keypresses if you do them too fast. And it helps with developing muscle memory, too, since its more similar to the second half.

You can also do cxzYzyyyxcz and itd do the same thing with more consistency on loading shells since sometimes you hold your shift key too long. And itd need less perfect timing to do godtier reloads

In muscle memory training these deadpresses are maybe harder at first but easier in the long run

But its not as necessary anymore because they nerfed mou reloading so heavily.

I believe I still hold the most cursed hotkeys award.

CVNG - Help, Disarm, Grab, Harm

CRTL+C for Chuckle

imo should be default as it enables you to close your equipment window bottom left or use F12 and have 0 UI which makes aiming easier, doing this gets you alot more use out of your screen, and you will memorize the storage locations fast bc theyre all next to eachother

and the tilde is great for reloading, when im playing SL w BGEL incin, I use SHIFT+Z + G + (Click BGEL) + Tilde and im reloaded in a blink of an eye

tbh you should just scroll thru the hotkeys now, like F is such a useful hotkey every single noob should know but somehow years experienced people dont know about..its like throwing ABOVE people like people do at req line when delivering plastic over the guy infront. some skill is just knowledge.

C for interacting with other hand. Very convenient when reloading. Or unloading magazines to fill ammo boxes

Default.

Everything else is a skill issue for me.

C for sCOPE

everything else just drag & click

Sorry, but I consider myself a point and click type o’ lad

L-left

K-down

J-right

I-up

Shift-pull out secondary

Manually pulling out the primary tbh

For MOU/shotgun/XM-88 users these are really useful keybinds

Shift-C to load magazine into gun in offhand (Interact With Other Hand)
Shift-F to draw from belt (Interact With Belt Slot)
So if you’re loading MOU you do:
Space, X, Shift F, Shift C, X, Space, Z

I use Shift X for scope (Toggle Stock Attachment)

A draw from pouch keybind would unironically would be really useful, curious what others have theirs set to. Normally I just use tactical reloads (drag magazine to gun) or normal reloading.

Lately I’ve been using:
E Q R for unholster
F drop
G throw

For reloading and MOU in particular:
Interact with left pouch slot: Alt-X
Interact with other hand: Alt-Z

So the full MOU reload is Space, Alt-X, Alt-Z three times, Alt-X(or E), X, Space, Z. This is about as ergonomic as it gets.

V for warcry, ctrl+space for special action, all a rifleman needs

crtl+c is set to *whimper

cntrl+0 set to “cic sucks”
