Description of the incident:

Map LV-624. Survs were barricaded inside nexus, and xenos were breaking in. In the process GAP1 was being beaten to death by Athena. Which is fair: they were holding their ground with survs. They fell down to crit, and Athena switched targets or started running around other xenos, again sounds reasonable. This next part is what is unreasonable though. Amist the survs running with xenos around, Athena realized they did not finish off GAP1, as they are on the ground, crit, off weeds. Instead of helping defend the survs as futile as it may be, they wanted the xeno they were bashing earlier to be dead for sure. They went straight over to GAP1’s crit body, did a final blow, and then went back to defending the survs.

Defending survs via barricades and healing is what should be applauded. Bashing xenos that approach is… well at least understandable. Going out of your way to make sure some xenos are dead for later in the round despite the survs having active threats should not be awarded.

Howdy, Athena here.

As you can see your own logs that you posted yourself, You and other Xenos were breaching the side i was trying to reinforce and cade, and ultimately also engage me and others around, trying to swarm in from that east side.

Unsure if you saw the state of the rest of nexus, but west, and nearly all sides were breached, and swarmed by multiple warriors, defenders, and multiple xenos. More xenos than the ones coming from your side. At that point, there was nothing i could had done for the survivors as they got badly swarmed, so my choice was to either fight 5-6 Xenos with no backup, because they were either already dead or on critical condition and disabled, or attempt to make my way out from your side.

Ultimately, i choose to disable GAP1 (Edited the tag, i thought it was you who i disabled at first, but you made the report on GAP1 name) since they were also a threat, and attempt to find a way to get off your direction, but other Xenos didn’t let me as they swarmed on me aswell, so i was forced to continue fighting, which didn’t lasted long enough until i was disabled.

I am a bit confused by your statements, and for fairness/clarity in case I mistook your actions or thoughts, I just want to try to line what I saw to what you are saying and also focus in on the thought process right on the few seconds that lead me to make this report.

so before the event and setting the stage: my vision was on the east side of nexus, and a bit more. I made a hole as fortify defender on the north, someone (probably you) patched it up, then I went SE corner-ish, got in, and then the event happened.

Your first paragraph matches what I saw. We now had 3ish xenos east closing in, and I was hearing warriors at least on west side. I saw at least 2 survs and you in the middleish, struggling in the box cade you guys made.

Second paragraph yes, xenos came from both sides, and it was at least 4 xenos dancing around survivors. There wasnt much to do but either abandon survs, maybe carry one on your back, or fight xenos til you collapse.

This is where I dont understand though. you wound up dancing with xenos, then fighting GAP1. This is away from survs to the east. You critted them. I assume you gave up looking to get out of the east because you went west back to the middle of the 2 survs, dancing with xenos. I assume this was your third paragraph, but now you are back with the survs, surrounded with the same decision. This is now in my log, right as surv getting tacked, Elder Warrior (PO-692-MU) tries to tackle Friedel Krafts!

At this point, you are now back with the two survivors, with your situation again. GAP1 is on the ground, crit, east. You were just in the middle of nexus, with enough time passing for Hans to fire multiple shots into…himself it seems, and Friedel firing nailguns at whoever they can. You then go east again away from the survs, bash GAP1 for a final death blow, and then go back west to the survs, again. This is the action in question.
