Everyone seems to haveā¦ hated that round lmao, wtf happened?
idk who is this everyone but this was a soro round that lasted 3 hours with a shitload of back and forth
The entire round was also an insane exercise in frustration for CIC which I was in charge of - as I could get pretty much nobody to lase a fucking OB at the enemy for half an hour and mortar wasnt setup for the same duration of time.
Eventually, @joaopslima dropped a beastly OB (medal-worthy, he got a medal from it as well) and got at least 7 frags from it that finally let us catch a lucky break and we started moving into caves.
Marines fed like 15 fucking caps in said caves and we had to retreat back to FOB and go with the nuke option. The entire time I had also like no intel points at my disposal because IOs all fucking died.
IT took us another hour to get the nuke to detonate because the entire situation with the comms was a back and forth shitshow, where we also had to drop a HE OB right next to COās corpse to get him recovered (courtesy of @luscao).
After most of the hive died, one fucking ravager pretty much kept the hive afloat for ANOTHER thirty minutes and got like 30 fucking kills doing it.

My most recent medal in probably the most protag-energy round I had
Backstory to that round:
I was playing as HM, was chasing a crusher and got shot by sadar, gibbed instantly. Sat around in Dchat, watched marines lose many people, but xenos also lost 3 ravagers. Then foxtrot spec gets spawned, and I roll it. I ask Biolock as a joke for melee spec kit and he actually gives me it. Fast forward to the medal moment:
Queen screeches marines, I hang out back to not be stunned and then immediatly rush behind her. I start beating her upside the head with my inhumanely strong machete and kill her in mere seconds as two SGs help me.
Basically I was the pushing power for marines that round, shortened the round from 2-3 hours to 1 and a half.

meme is one of my favorites and I will continue to post it in future, but in terms of actual gameplay I wonāt hesitate to run in and try to get people out of enemy lines if I think thereās a chance
