Memorable Synthetic Moments

Greetings to all, and may this New Year bring you joy and good fortune.

I open this thread as an invitation for people to recount moments shared with synthetics— be they cool, silly, or simply something that left an impression on you. Such stories, I believe, will serve as inspiration not only for those who take on the roles of synthetics but also for non-synthetic players, fostering even more engaging roleplay moments in the future. Perhaps it may even spark motivation for some to craft their own synthetic personas and submit applications for this extremely cool white list :mechanical_arm:.

While I am aware of the conversations circulating about the current state of the synthetic WL, I hope this space remains one of light-hearted sharing and goodwill. Once again, the purpose of this thread is to share experiences with synthetic players, and I trust everyone will keep it enjoyable and on topic.

(And perhaps—dare we hope—a tier list for synthetic players is coming soon? Will they soon be granted their own BE tool for LRP’ers? :gun:)"

Tier lists of players are toxic, don’t rate people like that :frowning:

On topic though, I think the only memorable moment I can recall atm was some time ago was as a Working Joe a synthetic actually interacted with me (I forgot their name) and used the protocol g1s get that no other synths get to make me tell them about some stuff I witnessed that I wasn’t talking about.

Doing so proved that ARES was subverted through that protocol and was proof that RP worked better than just fragging me

Don’t recall to ever having any with normal Synths, they just roleplay perfect humans, so it is no more memorable than average CL.

Something I do remember was a staring contest between me, a civ reporter, working joe and spitter, all in core lobby.

We were looking at eachoter kinda like in that movie The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. WJ wanted to move me outside the lobby as per his programming and he wanted to keep spitter outside too, I wanted to stay in the lobby, or move into the Core and spitter wanted us both dead.

First WJ tried to disarm me, but spitter took my side against evil robot and started hawk-tuahing at it, I get up and went into a corner, cheering spitter for his valiant effort in fighting the mechanical menance, WJ tried to retreat so he opened doors, I went after him. I had a gun, but I wasn’t sure if rules were right to just mag-dump WJ, he activated gas, I passed out, xenos capped me easly calling it “free-range cap”. WJ died via being ganged up by half of the hive.

Dave the butler, then Sawyer the surv synth, then Molly the historian or whatever she was playing in the hive, Malcolm the salesynth, also Nathan and Phelan the gun shop cowboy. Angel tho, sus.
P.s: almost forgot the sweet Holiday and Dean the dean.

Karen or Carla the Synth as Bartender of the Pink Flamingo on Big Red. Refused to leave the Bar and served drinks the entire round.

I think some of my favorite moments with synthetics have been instances where they’ve helped out with minor matters (like constructing the FOB) without being explicitly told to do so - it’s just enjoyable to see them helping and talking with normal players in a constructive capacity

Kind of a wierd time to post one of these while the synth whitelist is under scrutiny. Especially when it was posted mere hours after the other.
