Thanks to good SEAs and players in general, my first CM rounds were memorable (doing 0 damage to a fortified defender who *stared at me, seeing the SG helping me get mauled, somehow surviving) and thus, determined me to keep playing. I’m grateful for the smooth introduction to a, admittedly, quite clunky game, and I want to give new players the same experience.
What gameplay areas do you know and which areas are you strong and weak in?:
Strongest: Medical (shipside and groundside), Intel (processing, general tips), CIC functions (loading and firing OBs, supply drops, modifying IDs, OW)
Decent: Req (poor understanding of BM, good understanding of the rest), Engi (APC fixing, setting power, decent cade theory), Xeno (settings, caste and strain effects, general tips)
Weak: CAS (poor understanding of loadouts and FMs, can medevac/paradrop), Research (superficial understanding)
None: OT
How often are to able to play CM?:
1 or 2 rounds a day depending on length

I don’t enjoy xeno gameplay but I’m willing to get more hours while this app is up if needed.
+1, Played with Rube a bunch, really chill guy OOCly/ICly from what I know and seen and I do like you
My only point is to perhaps play CAS enough to be proficient, and understand how Queening along with her buttons is
We do get asked questions about how to CAS a bit, and sometimes how to handhold a queen through her first ever game.
(This is how I learnt CAS, this guide is fucking great)
You don’t have to be gods gifted xeno player, but just enough to know the buttons and how to lead as queen, and the buttons (Like how to apply minor/major boons, generic ideas of what makes a good hive and screech. Other than that, still a +1!
I have seen this guy a lot and I have been playing a couple of round as an IO with him. I’m sure he knows a lot of marines mechanics and I also had some good interactions with Rube. +1 from me!
(I’m happy that my first post isn’t an appeal or report, haha)
I would like to see you play more xeno during your application process. Applicants have been denied based on their lack of xeno hours before. I highly recommend that you start playing xeno now to ensure that you maximise your acceptance chances.
an icon to IOs everywhere; also one-on-one helped me through my sophomore slump IO rounds and learning maps and IO strategies.
would like to see you around in other roles if only because you’re one of the calmest and most approachable people here; i think anyone would be off to a good start here with your guidance, in any roles.
+1; hoping this one works out but if the hours end up an issue, please keep trying! your patience as a teacher and peer is unparalleled

Messed around with GP and queen on a test server, copied Mortland’s FM and loadout. I could now explain a queen’s functions, give a decent CAS loadout, FM and explain how to shoot.
