Why do you want to become a Mentor?:
I’ve been playing on CM for about 3ish years and I’ve gotten over 1000 hours of fun out of the game. I wanna at least dedicate some time to contributing back to the community.
What gameplay areas do you know and which areas are you strong and weak in?:
Xeno:
The bulk of my playtime is made up of xeno. I can play nearly all castes and strains competently. The only xeno strain I have never touched is vanguard praetorian. This is the part of the game I’m most familiar with.
Groundside Marine:
The other part of the game I’ve spent most the time with is groundside marine rolls and combat in general. I know how to use most of the kit new players would want to use as a rifleman. I’ve played around with all the different specialist roles and smartgunner (except AMR). Combat support-wise, I believe I am a competent medic and I know how to build up the FOB + any other planetside engi work that may be needed.
Intel:
I enjoy intel, I know how to go about gathering it and processing it.
Shipside:
I’m not a fan of a lot of the shipside roles since I’m not great at RP. My most familiar is with req. I know where to find all the different things someone may order and how to set up/ship off crates to the FOB. I know how to use the overwatch consoles and do the stuff you’re required to do as an SO, further than that I haven’t really touched. For OT/Chemistry, I can follow the guides for the basic stuff on the wiki, but I haven’t played enough to grasp making custom chemicals. With surgery, I have done a little bit in the past as an ERT and just followed instructions which got the job done. I may play researcher in the future. I’m not interested in MP at all, I can follow military law but don’t care for the role.
I still go back to the wiki and guides know for specific stuff. So I know where to find information needed or send people if they need further help.
How often are to able to play CM?:
Around 2-3 hours every weekday, probably more over the weekend. Usually I am on in the evening AEST which puts me in lowpop.
