Why do you want to become a Mentor?:

I’ve learned and grown in some ways as a person while playing CM, and I want to give back to the server by helping others.

What gameplay areas do you know and which areas are you strong and weak in?:

Very strong in Command roles, Combat roles, and Engineering roles. I do well in Medical and Req, with my weak points being IO work, research, OT, and prae strains.

How often are to able to play CM?:

Probably around 10 rounds per week.

I know I haven’t always had the best reputation, but I believe I’m a very different person then when I first started playing CM. I believe I can be a good mentor without any issues.
There are plenty of times I’ve gotten praise when playing an event role or an ERT role with RP while being anonymous.

I do not recall seeing any of your characters in game but that is often a time zone difference

Medical:

The CL is saying there is “neurostim” in them, how do I remove this? Where even is it?!

People are mad at my unga mix, they said the peridaxon is bad. I thought it was a useful drug, what gives

Someone came into medbay and they have an embedded object but the larva removal surgery won’t work. Is this a bug?

Xeno:

A rav is telling me to make a plyon at comms but there are no weeds there how do I do that? I am still on ovi and don’t want to leave it yet

When I lurker pounce someone why cant I move? Is it my ping?

I was yelled at for pouncing a marine as a runner while someone else was tackling them, what did I do wrong?

I saw a hugger talk last round why cant I do that?

I just became a praetorian how to grab people? None of my abilities do that?

Cool guy in game, didnt interact that much, usualy saw them as observer/another marine
very solid hours in many roles, also has decent xeno hours +1

Hi! I see you went with stuff in the fields I’m less well versed in so Ill do my best.

Neurostim:
The CL is most likely referring to his neurostimulant implant, which is something he can use to bribe marines with, as it gives them serious buffs with the condition being if the CL says a certain word it will have very negative effects on them. In this situation I would assume the CL had injected himself with it and advise them on how to remove it. This requires opening the CLs chest (scapel, hemostat, retractor), Displacing the ribs, (Circular Saw, Retractor), removing the implant (Surgical drill, hemostat, cautery), and then fixing the chest (retractor, bone gel, cautery).

Peridaxon stops you from taking the consequences of organ damage, but it doesn’t directly heal damage, and thus some people think every “redudant” chem in unga reduces the amount you get from the actually useful chems. This is because each sip of unga only gives a small amount of each chemical.

An embedded object can be something other then a larva. I’d explain that to them and suggest either trying to remove shrapnel with a knife, and if that fails extract the object (reoutlining the steps I explained in response to your first question)

To make a pylon, there needs to be hive weeds, which are generated by cluster nodes and the hive core. You can while remaining on ovi choose to build the hive cluster special structure where the rav wants, and once the hive weeds are in contact with the comms tower the pylon will appear.

When you lurker pounce a marine, it’s normal to be frozen for a small amount of time. This isn’t ping related but rather intended.

When a marine is being tackled it’s usually so they can be captured. If you pounce them, you can hide their sprite, stopping the xeno from tackling them and allowing them to get up.

Huggers can only talk after a certain amount of time as a hugger within one life. This is to avoid metagaming.

Xenomorphs have strains, and only the oppressor strain has that ability. To become an oppressor praetorian, go to your alien tab, click purchase strain, select oppressor, then confirm.

This is tough. I would explain to them how to evolve, and that a new queen can only arrive after a certain amount of time, but since they seem very new and queen is a very stressful role with a lot of responsibility I would suggest gently they only evolve if no other queen does, while explaining it’s a very hard role and making sure they know this is simply a suggestion.

Those are to be collected for intelligence use, as they give you intel points. Bring them shipside and place them on the racks in your office.

If the dropship is going slower then usual, check if you’ve installed the fuel analyzer upgrade onto one of the rear engine attachment points of your dropship. It increases the speed and can be made at the dropship parts fab.

There should be some arrows in-between the 2 screens, you use those to offset your CAS. (I had this one happen to me when I started playing GP for this app, LOL)

The only major issue I have is with:

When any xeno pounces on a marine they reset the tackle counter for any xenos tackling. This can can lead to marines being able to stand up or dying because they were not nested fast enough, in addition to hiding the sprite as your said
