Why do you want to become a Mentor?:

I take joy in teaching new players. I already help new Xenos or Queens whenever I get the chance to, giving them some basic knowledge, if I spot one. But yeah, I like to teach new players, that’s my motivation.

What gameplay areas do you know and which areas are you strong and weak in?:

My strongsuit is definitely Medical, right there after Engineering. My weakest point is CIC gameplay. I dread ever touching it, even as an ACO. I know the basics around GP/DP and basic maintenance. I do have to reread MP law, but I can manage that. One department I lack knowledge in is Research. I once tried to get into it, but I’ve been told there will be rework after rework, so I just didn’t bother to learn in.
The rest, such as Spec weapons, other specialized weapons, support tools, and basic equipment, I know.
For Xenos, my expertise is with Preatorian and all its strains. Drone, Warrior, Spitter, and Queen, I have played for some time and know my way around to give new players helpful advice.

How often are to able to play CM?:

Nearly daily 2-6 hours, except during exam weeks

Calm person with good knowledge or practice of medical (I only noticed them being medic not other roles yet). So yea +1.

I know ELI mostly from xeno. They’re consistently patient when I’ve seen other long-time xeno players become burnt out and toxic. I never have a bad time playing with them, I’m always happy to see them on, and I can confirm that their oppressor skills are top notch. +1

Seen and interacted with Elisa playing mostly as Marine, they are chill and friendly, and their hours seem great too. +1

Eli is one of the few players who exhibits good sportsmanship, an appreciation for the game and an overall respect for all things CM; I cannot think of finer xeno scum to gleefully represent this community.

its a bit more of what has been said but;

Solis is an extremely competent marine, and a extremely competent xeno. I havent seen any toxic behaviour from her, they’re always willing to teach people stuff which shows how much they care.

I think the mentors could use another XENO player (or marine depending on the day :slight_smile: ).
