Yautja Character Story:
A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Depends on context, without outside factors I would attempt to isolate one opponent from the crowd, either the strongest, most confident or the leader, breaking the morale of the party, possibly opening them up to hunting if they do not flee the area. This is under the assumption it is intentional without means of confusion such as a xeno passing, if it were I would likely disengage.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
This would be grounds to be questioned, reparations would be in order such as pledges to not continue such acts, promises it will never happen again, if they do not then depending how clear I made it that it was my prey, possibly honour duel.
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
I’ve been thinking how to write this for months at this point so I will just say it at is, a year and a half ago I was a miserable person to interact with both ingame and out, I made little attempt actually getting to know anyone and I often took things too far, I always felt like I had to win due to an abhorrent mentality, I have done plenty wrong to plenty people and if you fall in this crowd, I do apologise.
I wish to say that I have improved to the point where I’m comfortable posting this but I can’t make that call, no I still am not perfect but I would like to imagine I am at the least at a stage where I can say I’m not a burden based on presence alone.
Dude. JC. This guy is awesome, see him everywhere. He knows when, where and how to roleplay. I can attest that your mindset has changed - I feel much more confident in you than I ever would’ve been last year. It’s a +1 from me, good luck with the application!
the goat griefs me every round so he’s perfect for the griefer (now aurafarmer) whitelist +1
mechanical competency should be of no worry to the player and the ability understand so i have 0 doubts of their ability to follow protocol and regulations
This comment isn’t very useful to the council. If you are going to +1 or -1, give us a reason. A +1 without any information on the player is useless to the council and will be discarded when we discuss about the player.
+1 Great youngblood, hound, and player to have who generally knows the role well, while I don’t know your history you likely learned from your past and I hope you continue to improve and make the game interesting for those you interact with. I can only praise you from what I’ve experienced with you from my end. Go my hound, continue to bully the youngbloods and get them to bite back.
Mister Moon is a longtime member of this community, of whom I enjoy my interactions with when I see them in game… genuinely makes me a little jubilant when I see him in game as, anecdotally, his presence typically precedes a round highlight, the little moments that remind me of why CM is such a unique and fantastic community driven gem of a game. I simply cannot think of a single bad moment. They’re a mechanical satanist with the roleplaying chops to back it all up. Marry me. Yea, yep, yes absofruitly, he can have my pred app +1 any day.
Got some questions for you.
You are not obligated to answer any nor all questions.
Although since you were whitelisted in the past, I thought I could make up some harder questions for you.
Question one
A group of humans in the hunting preserve decide to line up with their backs against a wall and a turret in front of them. How would you deal with this?
Question two
You are playing and a yautja get’s infected inside their lodge. The whole hive is there and they are all clustering around the infected yautja. How would you take care of the infected yautja?
Question three
A hellhound disobeys your commands and decides to hunt honorable that you explicitly told it not to hunt/harm. What will you do with the hellhound.
Bonus Question
A group of CLF survivors spot you on LV 624 and are trying to run you over using the van that they get. What will you do?
1, I would either go into cloak and destroy the sentry before resuming the fight if possible, if not then I would likely stun caster the group and take single targets far away, it would be too risky using a lethal caster as they may get hit and I don’t believe they should be punished for using a logical option.
2, Considering they would have to be killed at all costs I would likely risk my life now based on the fact its on our turf and they won’t have had long to fortify. If I am already shipside I would take the teleport directly to the lodge with a stun caster as they are huddled together, hopefully allowing for enough time to locate and extract the infected.
3, Hellhounds are just a tool in the hunt, a disobedient one is useless and thus I would say how it has failed me and simply kill it. This would be the case if I was very clear with no chance of confusion for where they could have gone wrong.
Bonus, If it is clear they are attempting to hit me and not an accident, I would cloak if I hadn’t already and lethal caster the van but not engage further, it should disable the van for a moment and make them reconsider, if they continue then I would disable the van and take the fight to them as it is clear they now know what they are dealing with, I would prioritise the driver but it’s likely to result in a slaughter which is why it wouldn’t be my first answer.
don’t know them personally but i’ve YB by proxy. Was apart of some fun rounds. Mechanically aware of the WL and its functions and I don’t have any complaints. Wasn’t there to witness any era of toxicity but i’m all for second chances, everybody has their bad streaks. Wouldn’t mind seeing them as yautja
