Hello. I’ve had two interactions with you so far.
The first one was positive. I was fighting some predators on one of my marine characters, and after holding on to some gear, I had two of them on my tail. Now, I was pretty beat up, with three fractures, ruptured lungs, and just little health overall. Despite this, you helped old lonesome me, killing one in the process, and then bringing me back to life after the second one killed me - all the while roleplaying with the predator. Needless to say, this left a good impression of you - it’s rare to find marines help other marines when predators are fighting them, especially when it’s just one guy.
The second one was very negative, and was honestly quite the blow knowing you weren’t as cool as I thought you were.
I was FORECON survivor CO on LV522, and you were a FORECON survivor. After going with some other survivors to the reactor to grab armor, we broke off, and I incidentally met you. I pointed to you to follow, and you did, which was all well. Then, a singular drone came up to me. A singular one. Without hesitation, you ran ahead and left me for dead with the drone, all the while it was faster than I was off weeds. After this, with a stroke of luck, I escaped and ran to our meeting point. On the way there, I hear you on comms say ‘YES I GOT THE DIALYSIS MACHINE’, or something along those lines. Once there, I confronted you, and wanted to see what you had to say for yourself. Here’s where it gets worse. After telling you you shouldn’t abandon your CO over a singular drone, you double down and say I should’ve fought better, should’ve run, and that I should’ve had attachments for my Mateba. When I ignore those comments and tell you why it was such a dire thing, you escalate to LOOC snarky remarks and comments insulting me.
Once we get shipside, I ask you one final time about what you’ve learned today - and yet again, you double down along with a very half assed apology. You say I should’ve had attachments for my Mateba. At this point, I have you arrested under discretionary detainment. I check in multiple times to see if you had anything to say, and still, nothing. Eventually, you appeal to provost and it gets accepted (which was weird, as was the provost inspector). I want you to know that if you actually bothered to apologize, and weren’t lying about panicking, I wouldn’t have had you arrested shipside.
Round ID for this is 24719 if anyone cares enough.
As for your story, it’s got a lot of grammatical errors and your predator feels very generic. There is little to no interaction with prey.
To summarize, you:
- have the ability to roleplay, as demonstrated by the first incident, but still refuse to behave at times in roles that are expected to uphold a higher standard, as demonstrated by the second incident
- have the tendency to escalate and shittalk OOCly over IC actions. These qualities are not sought after when you’re an antagonistic character.
- have a below standard story.
-1. You can probably get the whitelist, but not anytime soon.
