I don’t like the idea of rushing one spot until you succeed. We need more, Moar open space. There is not enough open ground and buildings
For my strategic excellence in my execution of the plan against the CLF menace and the CLF commander code named xeno queen.
Yeah that’s true but I tried to host my own private server but it just wouldn’t work even when I asked for help still wouldn’t work. With that in mind I don’t think my PC is good for mapping/coding
ORDER OR CONDUCT A FLANK!! ALL THE MAPS ARE BUILT LIKE CAVES OR JUNGLES WITH MULTIPLE POINTS OF ENTRY!! IF YOU ARE TIRED PF ONLY PUSHING ONE 3X3 CHOKE WITH 60 PEOPLE AND YOU ARE IN ANY LEADERSHIP ROLE IN ROUND , FUCKING CHANGE THAT !! ITS NOT THE MAP’S FAULT YOU MURDERBALL!!
The issue with maps not being used is a non-map issue. Marines are mostly incapable of holding anything that isn’t fob. You can argue that defending cave entrances is a “defense”, but its more of a stalemate, where marines don’t have the power to push into caves, and xenos don’t have the power to push out of caves.
This creates a constant reoccuring round-by-round scenario of marines slowly pushing until they either falter and fall all the way back to fob, stalemate at cave entrance, or destroy hivecore. If and when xenos get enough strength to push out of caves, marines are forced to fall back to fob, because once again, they can’t hold anything else.
Dynamic stalemates cannot happen, because the only stalemate is at cave entrances or fobs. This is where 90% of the gameplay takes place and no amount of maps being added or changed will affect this.
With LV it is only one way to play it. You either do an engie hive, or a hydro hive, and watch marines fumble the massivly marine favoured matchup with a round ending at 00:50.
It is also one of the few ways to get sleeping xenoes to do something other then watch family guy montages for 20 minutes.
