Excuse me for any lack of clarity, I’ve had a good evening on Jaeger.

This situation in itself. Is a classic, it’s- to a degree. An undeniable funny.
What if, as a result of this situation, the M2C ‘operator’ received a Medal by the CO as a result of their actions, their recommendation reading as follows:
"In the heroic defense of the USS Almayer, they bravely operated an M2C HMG to gloriously gun down Staff Officer Bart Reed with reckless abandon, let us all be inspired by their Initative and Heroic deeds on the field of battle.
In my opinion, this is a funny and appropiate medal in response to the funny.
Does anyone know the opinion of admins on this? or would a CO get a bwoink/negative rep on their whitelist for distributing medals?
I feel like there is a good time and place for jokes, but I don’t really think a commissioned officer of the USCM should be bestowing someone a medal for gunning down one of their officers… its gotta stay on theme.
You /could/ find meme-ones on the old.forums. But lately plus the fact as quoted above CO is whitelisted? I doubt one would do it for the meme’s sake, outside of being a very soul-crushing job.
If SL itself is already stressful if you lack any aid from ship-side, imagine CO having to manage ship-side and take decisions that would decide the fate of 100+ people.
