Description of the incident:

During the round they stole commanding headset from CiC. When I found out, as CMP I arrested them and left for warden to watch over in brig. Their charges were theft and resisting arrest, if I remember correctly. Their summary brig time wasn’t more than 15 or so, minutes. During their brig time I was outside of the brig, as warden was in the round and was watching them. Later in round, I arrested Skadihildur Grimsdottir for destroying several windows, holding CL at gunpoint and trying to rob them for money. After being brigged, both of them were constantly attacking me and Warden in yard. At some point they took CHUNK box out of vendors and were using them as a weapons and killed me. I do not understand the reasoning, nor do I understand why would they escalate their situations from temporary brig time up to permanent and or execution.I did not ahelp during the round or during the incident happen, because I was simply stunned on such a behavior.

Evidence:

Sam L. Johnson has been attacked in the head with CHUNK box by Jim ‘Jam’ Miller!3
The wound on Sam L. Johnson’s head widens with a nasty ripping noise.

As Skadi I want to clarify a few things My narrative of events is all IC, and not breaking rules.

. Firstly on rule 4: It is described as Intentionally griefing the marines, with examples of OBing the front, and shooting up medbay - none of this was close to brig antics. Secondly, rule 4 addresses perma killing people. Which, Jim drug the CMP to brig medical and called for medical help, while i moved the warden out and treated him with a medical kits two injectors, as Jim (presumably) was stabilizing CMP. We did not flee until CMO arrived, and we had told CMO both were hurt, and got both treated. Further I stayed behind to talk to XO and then scrammed when CMP went for me. I see little grounds for a rule 4 violation. Me and Jim, attacked no one save MPs in the brig, and disrupted no overarching marine support, or operations. We then took full measure to ensure they stayed in the round.

. As for Rule 2: Me and the CL were joking around, I am sure he understood and knew it wasn’t grief, he was happily playing along.I was emoting yoinking his lamp for money and generally, well, hes a CL being ignored by command. I shot one window out as apart of RP between us. Later, I shot the Intel room window out to take the intel inside. My interactions with the CL I also feel were in the vein of playful RP to have something to do with him. My entire encounter with him he had command comms. He never called MPs because he knew i was not griefing him. I was clearly RPing with him and giving him something to do. I doubt the CL felt I was breaking rules, I was talking to him, emoting, and generally just engaging with him in light hearted RP.

. After being arrested and placed in brig I saw Jim bloody and being abused by warden and complained. I notably did not attack anyone and instead kept asking about a spork and playing with my cell. I did not attack any MP at this time. The warden attacked and abused my character however, for trying to aid Jim with his cuffs. Eventually they took Jim out and I again showed RP intent, expressing worry for Jim, asking for vendor access, and then saying noo jim speak to me when he came back. The attacks only got rough after we were given my ID and I could vend chuck bars for Jim. Jim, DIRECTLY mentioned being permabrigged, I believe for why he wanted to battle the Mps and escape. Jim then engaged the MPs with chunk. I assisted him a little, then the Mps disengaged. The Mps came back and cuffed me and I ran into the corner to uncuff. When I came back, both warden and CMP were in crit. At that point IC I am screwed. No one is going to buy it was just Jim, and I am on the hook for capital crimes. My character felt, the best thing to do at that point was to escape and flee. I rendered medical assistance to the warden, as mentioned before, and RPd with XO a little before running for it. I used warden ID to fly alamo, and after being too slow to throw it off ensured I told command /several times/ his ID was left on alamo.I then took to the colony to make my grand escape. I feel based on the IC actions while a bit ‘out there’ it was a proper escalation of events. My character was cellmates with someone who just took out two cops with a box of chocolate bars, and I needed to flee execution. The only people impacted by my actions directly, were a CL who happily played along with me despite having tools to call for MPs or Ahelp, and the two MPs- MPs I notably, did not kill. As for Jim killing them, well. One guy with literally nothing but a box of chocolates versus two MPs is not something I witnessed, though he did IC express remorse at it going that far.

Hi, I’m the warden and I think it would be more accurate if you said “The warden went to stun me because I was interfering with the arrest of Jim” - do you think that is accurate? If not, I’d like to know what you think the attack/abuse was.

You repeatedly table slammed my PC, instead of flashing and cuffing me. Or pepperspraying and cuffing me. Or stun batonning and cuffing me. You chose to instead drag my character to a table, and beat them into the table over and over. This lead my character to believe the MPs were corrupt and abusive.

Yes, because I didn’t want to deny you yard privileges at that point (by cuffing you and taking you to a sealed off cell and adding time to your timer) - as most players generally hate this and it leads to a lot less RP. And “beating them into a table” is a weird way to phrase it - the tablestun I used is the kind that does no damage, only stuns you. Anyways I’ll try to remember that you’d prefer to be also cuffed rather than only stunned for future.

Hi, I have taken a look into the incident and the logs. Based off of them, both players seem to have acted egregiously LRP throughout the round, with Jim ‘Jam’ Miller asking to have his bones broken roundstart, asking to be pre-splinted on every limb, and intentionally attempting to be disruptive, alongside murdering the Warden and CMP for minimal reason.

Skadihildur was also the same, immediately running to research and requesting to have their brain swapped into a monkies body, and attempting to lie in an adminhelp to have an MP player punished by misconstruing the situation - and assisting in the killing of the Warden and CMP with the chunk boxes.

Both players will be receiving a 14 day ban given prior history and the lack of a reason for them to do these actions.
