My new, much better idea than the local narrate nonsense. PMC medics get the super cool nano-splints and trauma kits, give them the single advanced defib too, and fix-o-vein for proper IB surgery. They’re supposed to be the best of the best, superior to marine forces and much stronger. Thus, giving them an advanced Defibrillator will easily make them much better at healing, and hopefully encourage more actual medical work from PMC medics as opposed to fragging out with M39 + Firearm Skill 2 + AP

PMC are, as their name’s sake, “contractors”. Would any military org, in their right minds, give their mercenaries such top of the line gears? If you want the best of the best, WO.
Edit: I may got ahead with mixing PMC and goons, your idea may works depends on the lore team.

Goons are mall cops with AR15s. WY PMCs are usualy better soldiers since they recruit veterans mostly, and hire purely on a merit basis (You don’t just hire any slob out of the marines). So they are all more “elite” than the typical marine, but I wouldn’t say they are commando or green beret elite.

Oh that be incredibly easy to do.
They get their gear from a pre made list, all you have to do is ad these items to it.
Litterally just two lines to copy and paste.
I can show you how to do it if you want.
Should work balance wise maybe. Fix-o-vein definitly would.
Fix-o-vein is getho sutures, and sutures are getho vix-o-vein. Thats it mechnics wise really. Only have to balance that via opertunity cost.
Not sure about compact defi though. Dont use that enough to know what is better about it, and what worse.
fix-o-vein isnt top of the line gear. Its simply sutures, meant for veins and arterys.
Wich is basic shit even goons would have.
Also, i also gave HM fix-o-vein a while ago. If they can have it, PMC are fine.

Mhm! Giving them Fix-O-Vein is one thing. As for the differences between base defibrillators and Advanced defibrillators, they’re as follows.
Advanced defibrillators can:
Defib through armor intrinsically
Are prevented from dealing ANY heart damage, no matter what,
And heal Brute and Burn at roughly two or three times the base rate of a regular defibrillator. This is WITHOUT taking epinephrine into effect.

PMCs are already too powerful for what they are, this is obscene. Basically instant revives at no effort - if a competent medic rolled PMC the squad would be unkillable.
