Anyone else annoyed by the fact that NV, despite being a USASF base, doesn’t have any aircraft on it? there was that one PR to add an EVAC-3 to it but EVAC’s are just one aircraft, you could add so many aircraft.
I will code this if someone sprites them.
I think the issue is there is a distinct lack of any kind of run-way or anything suggesting the map actually supports an airbase. You’d think we’re inhabiting a support facility and that the runway is just off the map.
yeah it doesn’t feel like a military base.
Just have it be a crashed aircraft on the beach for a nightmare insert ez.
Man, I WISH our dropship was the pointy-nose UD-4 instead of the hammerhead-shark esque AUD-25. I’ve been playing Aliens: Dark Descent and that dropship is so cool.
I mean, the UD-4 is the DS on the PvE servers, so it wouldn’t be too hard to add it, right?
Could have sworn it did at one point and they were removed.
The Bearcat and Cougar are both VTOLs so theoretically infrastructure could be put in place to make this possible on a map, would still need some spriting and such.

Though while this looks like a viper z1 mixed with a little bird and alienified,
i imagine the cougar (which has no art of it) looks more like a harrier mixed with a Intruder (the marines main CAS planes in the 1980s ) as a dropship.
oh and also we could have UAVs.
That would look cool on New Vardero.
