I was banned because I had attack/helicopter in my bio.
Appeal
I don’t believe I was in the wrong since I had 0 malicious intent and I did not know the meaning of the joke, I don’t hate pronouns users, I just had seen it on someone else and copied it because I found it funny, the reason I found it funny was because I lived and still live in Turkey and I wasn’t that familliar with the pronouns thing, and I did not know it was an offensive joke, and I sure as hell didn’t know what a pronouns was and I still don’t care about what it is, I just don’t want to banned for something I didn’t even mean or try to do, I want to make it clear that I don’t hate people who use pronouns or people that are gay, I am not concerned with anyone else’s business as long as it dosen’t hurt or affect me, and I am not trying to insult or offend anyone especially not with a “meme/joke” I don’t know the meaning of or atleast I didn’t know the meaning of. (I no longer have that thing in my bio, and I would suggest the moderation team to be selected properly so they aren’t insulted by someone else’s bio that they don’t know the reason of it being the way it is). If I am not unbanned I would like a explaination that tells me the reason of me still being banned for something I didn’t do or the harm intent that I didn’t have.
I believe nobody is going to deny or approve my appeal, since it has been almost a week and other appeals are actively being approved/denied, so I want to state my disappointment in the moderation team of CMSS13 Discord, I should have realised it was a big red flag for someone to even be offended by a joke, and I should have realised how big of a red flag it was for a staff member- oh wait the Discord Manager to tell me “I refuse to believe you don’t know what the joke is” as if I have to even know what a pronouns was when I put attack/helicopter on my bio while I was learning the basics of english about 5 years ago, I am deeply dissatistifed by the way the discord staff team operates, most of them act as if they are irreplaceable judges and executioners, and abuse their powers instead of enforcing rules, and they are using their emotions instead of minds to judge cases of rule breaks, this is what I have to say from my experience in CMSS13 Discord, I advise against joining the discord since most of the useless moderators operate only in the discord. If you are the type of person to be offended by a harmless joke on someone’s profile, which is not visible until you click their profile and scroll down, I do not believe that you have a place in any customer service or enforecement job, don’t get this twisted, I DON’T mean any joke, I mean harmless jokes, I wouldn’t want someone to make fun of someone’s dead relatives, I am thankfull that these people are restricted to discord mod positions instead of real positions of power IRL since that would probably make the world a worse place with even more Dictators.
