OT guide to Extra Spicy Claymores/M40 grenades

Basic rundown of a strange OT and his fascination with a certain 120 unit mix of chems that is positively lethal.

Basic Napalm Tutorial:
Obtain one extra Large yellow mop bucket before starting it makes the process smoother
Obtain 50 Phoron bricks (extra phoron can be found near the ladder of the SE pumps on the Almayer) then grind all 50 Phoron in the grinder in the OT workshop into the large mop buckets (the big Yellow ones). After that shove all that Phoron (should be 1000 units with two buckets) in a regent tank.
Next Grab the aluminum from one of the crates Grind up 2 Large mop buckets worth of the Aluminum in a second Regent tank (1000 units also).
Grab the sulfuric acid tank and move it next to your other two regent tanks you just made.
MAKE SURE… they are all on dispense 40 units each
Now go fill up 4 of your buckets with 250 units of water each (this is to prevent you from bursting into flames while mixing.
Next take your bucket and dispense 40 units twice on each Tank: Sulfuric Acid, Phoron, and Aluminum. you should have 80 units of napalm after mixing (I personally only mix 80 at a time but you can mix 120 into one bucket without issue)
After making 80 units of Napalm in each bucket you can run over to the ChemMaster, put all 80 units of napalm ionto the chem master from each bucket, make sure to swap out the buckets and not hit eject. Also toggle the ‘Dispose’ toggle to ‘To Beaker’. last but not least shove the completed napalm into the empty bucket you should have and place it into a reagent tank of its own.

Extending your supply of Napalm:
So fun fact Napalm Secondary chems have the exact same values of normal napalm so you can basically double your napalm by using welding fuel its a 1u to 1u mix and has no explosive reaction. so basically if you mix Napalm and welding fuel you get Sticky napalm which acts exactly like napalm no changes whatsoever to its potency or anything luckily. but ya mix 1000 units of napalm you just made with 1000 units of welding fuel and voila you have 2000 units of sticky napalm.

Ethanol Step:
You can ask research for Ethanol, or (and this is my preferred method) asking an officer if you may take and use the Alcohol Dispenser from the officer mess. permission helps so a keen eyed MP, or a rowdy officer doesn’t interrupt your ‘Art’ making.

Obtaining more Phosphorus:
Ask research, that’s about it. I recommend asking for about 3 buckets worth of the stuff since its a nice even number for a future few steps.

Making the ANFO you need for this project:
so this next part is a bit dangerous but surprisingly easy. First you want to get your buckets and fill one with Ammonia and one with Polytrinic Acid then mix both 500 units of each into a regent tank, that gives you 1000 units of Ammonium Nitrate. Easy way of making ANFO is put about 500 units of the Ammonium Nitrate in a regent tank then SLOW mix (20 units at a time!! count to 3 after every mix) 250 Welding fuel. (sometimes the server hiccups and if you do 30 units you will explode sometimes because the value for some reason gets rounded up). Do this until you have 1,500 units of ANFO or 3 buckets full basically.

Now for the mixing step:
Which this can be done as long as you have 2 of the chems ready, and its encourage since you will need way to many buckets and regent tanks otherwise.
so take any of your two chemicals over to the ChemMaster (I like to take the Napalm and Phosphorus first personally) and put 250 units of each chemicals into the ChemMaster (max is 500 units thats why) and you want to make 60 unit bottles containing 30 units of both chems (E.G.: 30 units of Phosphorus, 30 units of Sticky Napalm). This is why we have 3 buckets of each chemical because 3000 units is a nice even number for mass producing these bottles. (always make sure the chems are always 250-250 when you start making bottles, and don’t make bottles consisting of just 10-10 units you can always add in more chems form your buckets after all)

Putting everything together:
Now that you have your 4 chems of 30 units each split into 2 60 unit bottles you can now make your Claymores/Grenades. if you don’t know how to put together a Claymore or grenade its very simple.
First: you go up to the Army Lathe and Print off 6 M20 Claymores, or 6 M40 Grenade Casings.
Second: you go to your Auto Lathe and print off 12 Igniters for your Claymores (you can only print max 6 at a time) or for the grenades 6 Igniters and 6 Timers.
Third: combine either 2 igniters (click the igniter against another igniter) or combine an igniter and a timer for the grenades (clicking an igniter on a timer). click it with a screw driver and voila. (fuses are base 3s by default)
Fourth: Take your new Assembly and put it on your Claymore/grenade. Then you can pick up the Claymore with the assembly and click on your two different 60n unit bottles you made in mass and they will load into the claymore.
Fifth: Click your claymore with your screwdriver and grab a Labeler for Grenades I recommend Listing the fuse time and come up with a creative name. I personally call them ‘IncenExplo RunnerGibber’, But a better name would be as follow ‘IncExp25rng’, or for grenades ‘IncExp3s25r’ is all about your preference.

End result of the two containers should look like this,
Bottle 1: 30 ethanol (of your choice), 30 ANFO
Bottle 2: 30 Phosphorus, 30 sticky napalm

Now take your grenades or Claymores and dish them out to the nearest Tosser of deadly Devices or Leave them on the DS for the marines to pick up at will.

WARNING: These Claymores/Grenades will kill most Tier 1s Except the Defender in one hit (gibs runners). It will also kill Humanoids in one hit also (wont gib people or preds but it will kill them outright, they are revivable though)

Happy mixing

You’re so fucking based. When I get back from my perma I’m gonna main OT and try this shit

One problem with this guide is the missing “add all-caps warning label to the assembly that this will fuck everything and everyone in all general directions on the screen” step of the guide.

People generally expect claymores to be directional.

Yesterday I watched a hijack hold insta-wiped because people placed these around the room. The mines went, then the ammo pile went, then everybody in the room went. That one lesser is probably still laughing.

Can only fit so much on a label and marines dont read half the time anyways

Also they probably where not mine since I have only seen them placed outside of fob or heavy backline areas.

Thank you for making this guide.

man ahaha i willing to bet you gotten a lot of cooked apes, ungas tend to miss use inc mines. but still the cookbook is damn fine, i used similar kind of mines… a well placed claymore can take out even t2s. great for bullying lurks.

The claymores shine best in rounds with alot of backliners

Teach me how to make based sadar rockets, please.

I like my fire, im not the best with the high explosives making. There are much better people to ask for that kind of stuff, but if you want a spicy rocket for tier 1 and two casts just double the anfo and double the ethanol. Basically 60 ethanol, 60 ANFO, 30 Sticky Napalm, 30 Phosphorus.

the ANFO in the recipe provides a stun without taking away from the fire’s potency

I just wish people would stick to mortar/grenades/rockets and never ever ever make claymores. Even when they work at what you want them to do they suck at it and always kill marines.

Probably the best use of your time/resources are mortars, and second to that are rockets.

Hand-tossed grenades are just too hard for people to throw and use, and I’ve never seen an OT UGL grenade come anywhere close to the effect of HEDP. Usually it’s monstrously oversized explosions with non-lethal fire, and not a basic stun that is actually what makes HEDP effective.

Thank for the opinion I recommend making a guide so you can tell people how to make explosives if thats what you think. Everything has its uses in a situation. Especially since I tend to play lowpop, the claymores and grenades tend to work better because there is rarely mortar or sometimes not even a sadar.
