Not targeted at the specific player but I dont think that this should be possible. OT weaponry is supposed to be overpowered but balanced out due its’ scarcity, i.e. Sadar might be getting a handful of rockets mid-way through a round. With how efficient and optimised good OT’s are SADARs can exclusively fire OT rockets the entire round. Xenos have no way of knowing what SADAR has loaded, T1s and T2s can be a healthy distance from the front, including round corners and still get obliterated by rockets with huge incendiary radius. Or you get stunned for 5 business days from a rocket that landed nowhere near you. If this was like 1 rocket a round it might be tolerable (although still not balanced), but marines being able to have 10 OT rockets on first drop is bad and ruins rounds imo.

I will bet that of those 10 OT rockets 8 were never used and 2 ended up doing FF. I have 500+h as OT and I can assure you that more than half of the stuff you make ends up not been seen because a MRE covers that tile in the FOB or because the RO decides to put the OT nades in a backpack to make things more “tidy” and seriously trusts that marines are actually able to read. This is the real balance of the OT, I can make 8 rockets before first drop or a combination of rockets, shells and nades, the demo spec will be capped or beheaded in the first 3 minutes of the op, nades and shells will never be seen and if they are used they will cause FF 80% of the time. The rare occasion in which a competent OT comes in contact with a competent sadar or RTO happens with the same frequency of a pope’s death, you can hardly argue the game is out of balance because of that.
They were used and there were enough for both regular spec and foxtrot spec to have a full compliment of OT rockets + more lying around on the FOB. Why would anyone balance something around assuming no one’s good at using them? It’s clearly not intended that OT rockets should be a Sadar’s bread and butter, yet good OT players can make that the case that’s the issue.

The scarcity does not come in the form of time taken to make them, but resources required. Yeah some OTs can make a ton of rockets before first drop but at that point 90% of them cryo because they’ve just used up all their chems and they don’t want to beg req for more (and also because they want to actually see their rockets get used by spectating sadar)
10 rockets is a lot but it’s not going to last you a whole round unless it’s a short round or you just don’t fire very often
This was a round a while ago where i got OT rockets, literally i would run forward, 0 care in the world and fire it in the general location of xenos, considering the destructive output you rarely need to put yourself in harms way while using them
Also I’m pretty sure that the community is in agreement that balancing should NOT be around how competent or incompetent someone can be using something, if it has the potential to do something, it should be assumed that it will happen, including kill 90% of xeno encounters with near to no counterplay

“no counterplay” maybe get a boiler or two screwin up sight, LAYING DOWN, infinite resin spam, etc. Ignore that you COULD use movement away and around.
The effective balancing factor is what I said before, the intended ones are the scarcity of chems and time, I too almost always cryo when the chem tanks are empty because most of times the RO refuses to buy chems and I cannot be bothered with asking medbay or research.
If we do not want to judge balance off the skill of people then OT becomes even less of an issue, producing 8 or more rockets before first drop is not something a noob will do, it does not require a PhD but it is not the easiest of tasks either. The average OT will try new mixes that are very time consuming and therefore have little to no output or they will just make something and be almost of no impact at all for all the reasons stated above.
Just like vamp makes a big impact when OWL plays it, there are only a couple of OTs that are very efficient and influence the game significantly; just like crying for vamp to be nerfed is saltposting imo so it is claiming that OT needs to be removed or be majorly nerfed.
I should play more sadar to balance out the game by getting capped in the first 5 minutes of drop.

This isn’t about sadar balance it’s about how it’s stupid that OT’s can produce a whole rounds worth of OT rockets before first drop?
that basically just dooms anyone in the gas to death if the sadar just chooses to shoot into it, laying down doesnt help you, they are incendiary primarily, you also cant outmanoeuvre a maxcap, thats its gimmick, its a screenwide death bomb that sentences everything to the aether
