Dear kind sirs and fair maidens, I would like to investigate and receive your opinions on whether the “8” in the Players section of the lobby screen is in fact, horizontally asymmetrical.

You see, it is to my understanding that the top oval of the “8” is in fact, smaller than the bottom oval, which gives it the distinct appearance of resembling a “6”, giving the illusion of a “62” player count in lieu of a “82” player count.

However, certain naysayers such as the infamous Ashley Bullard, known also as “The Friendly Fire Fanatic” vehemently force their incorrect opinions upon my irrefutable visual capabilities.

I would therefore, like to ask you, fellow intellectuals of the forums- Which perspective you find to be the most promising as a harbinger of truth.

  • The top oval in the “8” is smaller, causing it to resemble a “6” at first glance.
  • The bottom oval in the “8” is smaller.
  • They are both the same size.

Bottom oval is one pixel shorter than the top oval in the eight.
The reverse is true for the 6 except the top oval is obviously not an oval.

That’s the 86 in my xeno tag… I mean the ‘84’ in the Players tab, under “Status” in the top right…

That’s just selection bias that you don’t see anything!! obviously the bottom circle is larger on the 8!
it does not resemble a 6 at all!!
