Enforcement Action Taken

Description of the incident:

I was crit, a marine drug me around and away from medics, and looted the bear pelt, then stripped me and threw my gear around. I ahelped at this point, nothing happened for a while until I asked a friend for their gun and shot him. I broke rule 10 obviously, but I also stated that to the moderator prior to them knowing about it. I explained that I was combat looted, but ended up being told it was an IC incident when I honestly believed it was against rule 4 and believed rule 0.1 would have my back on that regard. I ended up being noted for rule 10 and the moderator in question said “this is resolved” and closed the ticket. I ahelped the next round about it and was told to make a report. I don’t seek any action against anyone nor do I want my note removed, I deserved it. However, being stripped and having my gear thrown around felt as though I was being griefed, as it was intentional ragebait. I took it, and here I am. I also realize that my actions probably encouraged the moderator to prematurely close the ticket as I admitted to breaking rule 10. I do not want anyone to get in trouble, so I am omitting the name of the moderator to prevent pointing the finger or public blaming/shaming. Let me know if I need to change that.

Evidence:

Note - Rule 10 Improper Escalation - When a marine stole the gear of the player, Poppycat decided to shoot back as a mean of revenge and to take her equipment back, these grounds do not give you fully confirmation to shoot anyone for stealing, use the escalation rules. Hi. This incident was looked at by multiple staff members at the time. Stealing gear, is most of the time, an IC issue. You are not incorrect in stating that stealing gear can sometimes be griefing; however that is also sometimes hard for us to prove, or there are other factors at play. I spoke with the handling staff member and confirmed their reasoning, which was backed by other staff members at the time. I have found no staff misconduct in this incident; this staff report is denied.
