Since some people wanted the timetrials saved and shared in some place other than my own notepad, I figured I would post it to the forums. I don’t want to keep posting to the forums any updates on them though, so staleness would be a problem.
I figured instead: I will post them at year’s end. More of a “these were the top players this year!”. So, this topic is a heads up if you want to participate and be on the list before year’s end.
For those who don’t know what I am talking about: my character Vincent ‘PeriKing’ Frontiers, can sometimes be seen as a nurse, doctor, or CMO. When I take these roles, I make a DnD table in the medbay with 4 D20 dice, and some pens and paper in the middle. There will be a DnD sign up sheet on it, and also 2 papers labeled ‘surg timetrials’ and ‘chem timetrials’ with all the doctors names on them with times they took to complete the trials. If you only see the 2 surg and chem timetrials sheets without the DnD table, I am probably a groundside role and just wrote the sheets and left to go groundside.
I run two trials. One is for chemline where you make IA, FE, KD, and MB. The other is surgery on CMO’s dummy where you fix arm IB, arm frac, chest frac, chest organs, and larva. There are some extra rules but that’s the jist of it. Not adding all rules in this already too long post unless requested. If you ask me to do either trial, I accommodate that request unless of course I have to do my role’s job, dummy is not available, chems do not have power, or marines did not drop yet. I tell you the rules, use my cellphone to time you, and write your name in the correct position in my notepad when done. As a note, DNF on the sheet means Did Not Finish, a way for me to keep track of who not to bother with “hey you want to do timetrials?” ingame.
If you see the setup table with the timetrials sheets, I am most likely available to ask, although of course you will have to be a nurse/doctor/cmo to participate. Technically researcher too but don’t drop stim production for this. I sometimes advertise OOC ‘doing DnD and Timetrials this round’ before the round starts. If you catch playing at all and I am doing another round, feel free to ask my MHVO xeno or groundside role LOOC, or OOC me to be nurse/doc/CMO next round if you want to do a timetrial. If you can never seem to catch me ingame and you really want to be a part of it, I guess DM me on the forums and we can work out a time to meet up.
Acid goop because this is just a silly thing I do that some people got passionate about. I will tell you: first place are currently gods. The lists I guess I will post in general in december.
