There should be a raffle to evo pre-drop. You select which caste you want to evo into to enter the raffle, and then when the time comes, the raffle is drawn and the lucky xenos get it, regardless of their health.
This makes it so you can be weeding/breaking colony and you won’t lose out because you weren’t obsessively watching the clock for the 14/20 minute marks.
Maybe, you could also add it so some actions (like weeding/melting) gives you a higher weight so you’re more likely to get your evo.

This is legitimately the best solution I have seen to this issue and is something I was thinking about last night
While you will get significantly less prime T3 xenos this would be a benefit to overall xeno morale I think (until they lose 5 rounds in a row)
If something like this happened, it would be cool/good to see how many xenos are signed up for each role, similar to how some other servers display how many people are rolling for a particular job
I think the raffle would be for generic T2 or generic T3, allowing you…..30 seconds…. to evo into those first before the others.
I….don’t think I see anything too wrong it? It is just adding ‘xeno roles’ and seeing who goes into them in game, instead of doing it in the lobby like marines do for all of theirs.
