A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Depends on the circumstance, if I was cloaked and was shot at, its understandable to assume that the marines thought I was a lurker. I’d retreat, and use the predator sounds to add a bit more to it, see how the marines respond. Maybe they might go ‘oh what the hell is that,’ and disengage - which would hopefully allow me the opportunity to use my translator to say a few things face to mask.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
I’d confront them, asking why they did what they did, and to surrender anything claimed off the mark. I’d expect an apology for this mistake made, and likely a way to make up for this stain on honor. A spar, a test, or a game of the sorts - something to make up for my now lack of a hunt. There’s plenty of options to make amends, if they’re willing; if not, and if they did purposefully take my mark without apology, then an escalation of conflict will occur.

Ive played with Quad on a few servers over the past several years, CM included. Everywhere I’ve ran into them, they have been a quality role-player and contributed to the community and environment. I fully believe they can be trusted with a more antagonistic role. Easy +1 from me.
I have interacted with them many times with them as hellhound and young blood, they are a capable roleplayer and I’m sure they’ll make a fine pred. (Also good clan choice, I am not biased whatsoever.)
Hell, I wasnt even aware you played CM until a week or so ago. But I can fully say that Quad is one of the people I can wholeheartedly place as one of my favorite people to interact with in SS13 over the years (even if they kicked my ass a lot).
A hivelord walks up to you while you’re minding your own business and says ‘hello mister hunter can we capture you?’ What do you do?
A marine keeps trying to chase you while you’re evading but only to talk in an apparently friendly manner, saying ‘hey stop what do you want’ ‘I just want to talk’ and such, what do you do?
I’d probably state something along the lines of, “Serpent, return to your nest; do not ask me something so foolish again, or I will make you into a rug.” Hopefully, that gets it to leave me alone and return to whatever I was doing at that moment. If it choses to pursue action, say like shoving me in an attempt to capture me, I’m absolutely going to defend myself.
If I’m cloaked, or otherwise, I’d make my presence known and say, “Mammal, you chase only to speak?” Might take a few steps forward out of the dark to see what they do, “You hunt, follow my trail, end up before me, and you want to speak?” Shove them, toss them away, roar, see how they respond. If they still want to believe its a good idea to be friendly with a pred, I think using the translator and saying things like, ‘WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MICH MONSTER?! SARGE WE-WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE! OH MY GOD, IT-IT TOOK HIS FUCKING HEAD SARGE!’ to allude to the fact, that yes, this isn’t just another marine, this is a predator.
Now this is interesting, if there’s a new caste, I’m absolutely going to try to watch it, stalk it a bit to see exactly what it is, what does it do? Does it hunt? Does it heal? What is its purpose? All of these I’d try to observe first, and will ask other Yautja, namely the elders and ancients; what they make of it, have they seen it before? If even my elders, or ancients don’t know what exactly it is, then this is something I’d have to understand and see if it is even worthy to be considered prey.
I’m not sure if in the second you’re using the translator right off the bat or only in the ‘what did you do with Mich monster’, but if it’s not, both answers are bad.
You are talking too much with prey. Remember that translator messages are garbled and usually simple. Quoting the roleplay standards & lore page:
