Suggestions welcome
if that satchel were a radiopack i think this would be a much better loadout
The retractor and clamper are not required for any of the medic surgeries (IB removal), instead you can put the cord and graft into the surgery kit with the scalpel and 2 extra slots in the medkit pouch.
truth nuke radio pack drip is hot as hell

if you aren’t carving up your patients with your knife, are you even playing the game?
What’s under the black hole huh
Where is your NITROGEN WATER for tramadol overdoses..
Engi phamp is for what?
IB Surgery kit because I like having it, I used to just do boot knife and suture. I usually just use dylo and tric to ride out tram ODs.(Also asking for 4 is already a lot from chemline and I dunno if I want to drop MB KD yet) Engi Pamphlet because you never know…
On god sometimes evac happens and I get abandoned and it turns into med survivor gameplay. Also yeah what everyone else said.
it is HRP to use the retractor and clamper
banish the weak shipside for 20 minutes
Swap one of the splint with a stretcher and you will have everything you need for surgery closer together.
Could also drop dex pill bottle since you have dex+ in the canister and in the helmet.
Tip if you mix a reargent cansister pounch with 400u of tricrod and 40u of epid you can use that for the entire round. I carry 2 one with 400u of oxycodone and dex plus. The other with tricord and epi.
Then i never need to carry injecotrs or bottles. Opens up space for more splints. Yes this does counter act the space lost by not taking pouches.
I read that as HPR. That would be brutal.
It doesn’t matter what the ratio is within the canister when it always injects the 15u per use you always have the same number of maximum uses. Meanwhile with 5u per inject I get 5 fibs per injection
0/10 didn’t drop all medical supplies for more ammo to frag
But what, oh what, I wonder, is under the black hole in the top left…
As other’s have said, forego the clamps and hemostat. The bleeding is really completely negligible, and at worse just telling them to eat an MRE. Or an iron pill. Or IV them while doing the surgery. Without it, you save a slot, a lot of time, and a marine getting back into battle sooner. If you want to save another space, forego the scalpel and you put the fix-o, surgical wire and synth-graft in there. I haven’t checked the code, but I’m pretty sure using a knife is also negligible for the success chance and time.
I would also say lose the extra health analyzer. I get why you have an extra, but I can also guarantee the #1 reason a corpsman loses their health analyzer is because they clicked the armour underneath the marine they were healing with it in hand. So just be more conscious with your cursor, or check their armour for it when it suddenly goes missing.
Anything else would really be down to personal preference. The custom mix is nice, but fairly negligible, imo. Defib already resets oxy damage to 0 upon revival, and the inaprovaline keeps them stable long enough to get back up. If they’re stuck in pain crit any longer then that, the inap nor the D+ are going to matter, you just have to babysit their wounds for a little bit longer. I would also maybe change the three oxy injectors to tricordine. I honestly don’t find myself needing oxy all that much, and the healing from some tric can go a long way. But again, that’s really all personal preference.
One of these days I’m going to figure out how to host a local instance of CM to post my kit and it’s aaaalllll gonna be over for y’all. Mark my words!
I already don’t hemo, the image only shows retractor and scalpel, I replace hemo with fixovein. I’ve been trying out going back to boot knife fixovein and it’s pretty good so far. (Also I don’t just use the injector for revives, I also stab for oxyfix so that’s why I swapped for D+) I also have the spare bc I have lost my defib and healthscanner to xenos before, and I’d rather not have to go find another one when I can use 1 slot to keep 1 spare
And also lose the everything else and just take all mags, no meds!!!
Actual talk this is a good loadout for the type of medic who a.) Wants to go a long, long time without restock, and b.) Wants to be able to handle every scenario. Not overly customized but extremely viable and flexible. On my chiller rounds I usually use something like this sans my fifth kit is like all stasis bags and an extra evac because I join the front very late or pick up people in the backline. But the base of this has never done me wrong!
This reminds me that Mister Major Durstine never shared his M2C + pulse rifle HM loadout…
this post made me change my medic loadout that i’ve never changed since like, a few hours into corpsmen (at 120h right now) and now im mad because now i’ve realised how shit my old loadout was.
