I joined the server on another byond account, not so that I could play, but so I could read and note the interaction I had with an admin as I had just got a 7 day ban and was considering whether or not to appeal, but I got banned before I could look at what the admin had sent to me. I did not join the round, I just wanted to note that information and then log off.
I have never been banned before except once for EORG in my over 2k hours so I am not really sure of the process of how to obtain that information.
I won’t ever join the server on another byond account again, I understand I was in the wrong for doing that.

How would you have read the information on an account that is not the one banned. Especially when it tells you the ban reason when you are disconnected and when you try to reconnect.
Why would you name your alternate account “alexjones2” as well, or not do something like, say, reach out and ask how to appeal the ban before doing something so clearly against the rules?

I’m referring to the admin pms and not the ban reason.

I don’t know, there is another player with the account name alexjoness so I thought it was fine. I admit I was wrong to do this, ultimately the reason is because I was still in shock from the ban and wasn’t thinking clearly. I am not intimately familiar with every way to go about rulebreaks or bans since I have only really been acquiring notes and moderator actions against my account recently after playing for thousands of hours.

I believe you are lying as I find it very difficult to believe you would genuinely think to use an alt account to log on and talk about your ban reason instead of doing literally anything else.
Appeal denied, you may re-appeal in 180 days.

After investigation, managmenet have decided to overturn this stickyban.
