Okay but for real, marines wouldn’t know what pills to look at or what doses they should take.
if they see a red bottle they will think it’s skittles and chug it.
Why shouldn’t a marine know how to open a pill bottle and eat one singular pill. Ngl but I’d expect pill bottles to have dosage levels written on the front . LET ME EAT THE PILLS !!! Either way this still doesn’t stop me from injecting all the injectors.
Let marines smash the bottles post-hijack, but all pills spill on the floor and get welding fuel and other shit chems in them, because now they are dirty and scattered all over.
ID lock is an OOC mechanic to prevent marines to hold onto to much chem supplies on themself.
i am not a fan of it but it work.
i would rather see an IC mechanic preventing that.
currently one of the most efficient way to carry medicine for marines(not medic)is tablets or flask with 60u for each / slots.
their is probably more efficient way but i don’t know them.
make me think i should avoid injectors since you have the delay and -15u in it.
Injectors instantly apply the chemical,
Pills have a slight “injestion” time.
The biggest reason why people want pills, is because the high dosage in each pill and the capacity of pill bottles is 16 (iirc)
Meaning you get 16x15u dosage of Bica for example which is a grand total of 240u Of Bica.
Injectors only get three usages out of them which is 45u until they get refilled, which was nerfed by the medical restock thing
The whole ‘can you give me a pill from this’ and giving it to a medical trained person just so they can open a damn pill bottle, so you can access the pills is just pointless ‘teamwork’.
You can still bypass the whole pill thing by getting medics to give you pills from your own bottle.
Or you can use a bag with just pills, minus the bottle and use the excuse that ‘i dunno how to use pill bottles!’
