The Simple reason why I believe we should replace the Riot shotgun with the ES-7 is that the riot shotgun is very similar to the Standard MK211, making it very easy for new MP’s to grab the wrong gun and die because of it, where as the ES-7 can easily be told as a non lethal from a distance, also it’s more lore accurate in my opinion.
Additonally, the ES-7 and MK211 are both made by W-Y in universe and their real life equivalents are both Benelli M series of shotguns.

Oh and these things also have dual mode, so they can be used as pump shotguns or semi auto shotguns.
Would they fire beanbags cause that would be awesome as fuck?

They’d fire Electrostatic bullets like CL’s Electrostatic pistol.

Such a shame that non lethal MP tools are absolutely useless (save for awesome flashbangs which you, funnily enough, use to kill marines). You use a beanbag shotgun for any riot-like situation you will die since marines will just light you up.

still better to give it its own sprite then a just hue shift.
Besides, non lethal is only used for ““HRP”” aynway.
So it should make that nicer as well.

Hey, don’t diss pepper spray. Hands down best CQC weapon. Very true otherwise, if there is a mutiny, I am not carrying rubber slugs unless I feel like getting mauled. Flashbang + head PB is the best
We all know all MP tools during a mutiny are just used to stun marines to then kill them

The first time I ever got shot with the CL gun I thought it was lethals cause you turn red like you’re being harmed unlike any other pacification tool MPs have
Maybe with this gun you can also change it so marines don’t respond by opening fire
Looks good for the most part, only problem is that the sprite is brown instead of orange and the stock looks straighter then the photo of the one in the Operations manual.
How’s that?
I asumed the orange was simple meant to be wood but looked orange due to the color pallet

Yeah that’s better, the ES-7 is actually also the shotgun they use in Prometheus, and in that it’s plastic.
Saw that when i looked up refrences. But i could only find movie clips where the shotgun was mostly upstructed. Yay.
