It’s in the Neroid sector, and isn’t visited in the RPG or any other piece of media as far as i know.

I feel it would work more as a sea based or oil rig type mission then a frozen mission.

Yes, i know. One doesnt exclude the other. Especially if this particular base is known for being incredibly frozen over half the time.
Also you cant really walk on liquid, so having the map play in the colder times makes it FAR easier.
Otherwise it would litterally be just corsat with a diffrent “skybox”. Being that you just move from one building to the next, unable to go out. On the, you know, ocean of methane. Cant use that much more then background stuff. And thats boring.
If its placed during the cold we also get a large ice fields like map we are lacking in.
Instead it be much better to have the station be placed in basicly spring. Allowing for the map to be placed upon giant frozen methane ice plates, slowly melting into rivers of luqid methane running between the cracks down into the depth.
Cause methane takes a bit to freeze. About -297 degrees Fahrenheit, or -182 Celcius.
Wich is honestly perfect because i been looking for a reason to use the frozen river from sorokyne.
Idea was to make it a frozen hellscape with oilrig shit on it and freezing rivers.
If i can manage it, maybe even some neat things relating to the fact that the ice ligths on fire easy as fuck. Maybe i fiddle with the ice river tile and makea burning pond. You cant stop me.
Also, dont get me wrong. I bet its possible to make an ocean map. But that be really hard, like really hard. Although, i will think about it. Maybe i can pull something.

Mainly because i like Winter stuff.
Havent mapped in a while, and i like to get back into it with something i like to do.
And we only have one map that puts winter stuff in the focus. That being Shiva. Sorokyne has winter stuff, but thats on a part of the map thats barley played on. Sorokyne needs a ligth rework honestly.
