Scout should be immune to hugger traps

it is logical but at the same time all the xenos will mald over the scout buff , (even after the cloak nerf), so unless the special helmet comes with a huge nerf i don’t think we will see that feature any time soon.

GL spec is the strongest spec due to his nades, but the spec with the most worthless gear:

An armor that is mostly pointless since you have IFF with your launcher, a helmet that’s also useless since ideally you will never pointman, and a grenade launcher that does the same thing as an under barrel grenade launcher coupled with a low ROF.

If you want to be a GL only using HEDP, go rifleman, if you want to use m15s/m12s, pick the m79 for it’s much higher ROF and easier grenade management

I don’t deny that the GL has the least soul of any specialist, but GL is certainly not the worst. In fact, grenadier spec in general is one of the strongest specs due to stun locking any T2 and under repeatedly, although expensive.
I’d wager SADAR is by far the weakest specialist currently. It’s been left behind, nerfed into oblivion for years, and their effectiveness is dictated (to an utterly ridiculous extent) by the quality of the OT, if any.
With a good OT, the SADAR is OP as shit. Without OT rockets, the SADAR is anemic as fuck relative to other specialists. The gear is unique, yes- But the actual power of the role is underpowered. Other roles should not be dictating the killing power of a specialist to such a degree.

It’s only true niche right now is using AP to stun T3s and Queens, and unless it has a LOT of follow-up fire from fellow marines (or a very skilled spec with AP M4/M39) it can’t even do that job well.

sadar_clips all from 1 round from a very long time ago, even today i cant manage similar success as GL, there was 0 OT rockets here aswell and the round had many crushers, something a GL could not deal with

give GL spec a unique grenade type that only he gets, maybe bring hefa back in a big way and buff it.

Also let him load grenades into a grenade magazine so he doesn’t have to individually cycle grenades in.

hefa is soulful, also if you buff it it can become a really good anti armor grenade

We should also give scout the bubble hearth mechanic from WoW so that if he gets in trouble he can just tp directly back to the ships medbay for surgery. I think a 120 second cooldown would make sense because this ability means he can’t keep getting FFed by marines thinking he’s a lurker for 120 seconds.

No I think that the breaching hammer is not thematic of scout gameplay, they should be given super breaching charges that make no noise but blows up 5 walls and insta gibs xenos and also has no set time.

Scout NEEDS a smartgun that shoots impact ammo so he can frag benos and be famous in #Last-round-chat, literally unplayable otherwise

Scout needs to be able to kill xenos (and MPs) by looking at them or it’s completely unplayable.

It’s not a nuke if it has less than one megaton of tnt equivalent. Scouts should get big nuke able to wipe out the planet when activated, but for it to be balanced it would need to be able to get activated even when tackled, nested or dead. (Basically a “I ded restart server”-button)
