Description of the incident:
I was a healing caste drone at the front with the queen. We were pushing into comms, almost to FOB. I’m healing and then a predator starts focusing me attempting to kill me.
I did not attack first, or even after the predator attacked me. I tried standing still to see if they’d stop, but they kept engaging. Queen then screeches, everyone focuses the pred, I ran, they followed, and I had to use my sacrifice ability on a random xeno so as not to lose it, wasting it, but at least not randomly being executed.
I don’t really understand what happened there. First time I’ve ever been focused by a predator. Makes learning new castes difficult if godlike whitelist characters can target you.
That event also seemed to entirely kill our push completely altering the game. A bit frustrating.
