Yautja Character Story:
A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Depends on the circumstances.
If its a marine coming back with friends for revenge after an earlier encounter, I would take the fight, RP’ing as able, and doing my best to provide a memorable fight.
If it’s a group of marines unga-bunga hunting, meta-gaming the honor code, etc, I would disengage, and avoid them, and if unable to disengage, use the tools at my disposal to deal with them.
If it’s a group of Marines shooting at me during a first contact, I would RP it out with them as best I can.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
If it were an intentional stealing of my kill, intended to humiliate/disrespect me, I would demand an honor duel. Honor is paramount, and having it challenged by having my kill stolen is unacceptable.
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
I hear the feedback regarding Ooman, and I will not use it in game.
As for my OOC behavior, I heard the feedback given from my Synth application being denied, and the reasoning behind it being sixish months since my last WL application was because I took the feedback from Synth to heart, and worked on my behavior and interactions with other players.
I salt a little in dead chat every now and then, but nothing over the top/unacceptable. I’ve been trying my best to be better with my IC interactions as well, even if, I can be a bit harsh, there is no OOC hate/upset behind it.
So. Yes. I’d like to say things have improved OOCly, and my behavior has improved.
Seen you over the last few months go from “minor troubles” to a good member of the community. Have no problems +1ing this application so long as you remain chill. Which for the most part have been.
Plays a variety of roles and is fun to RP and play alongside.
Yeah, I can vouch for Sev mellowing out. I remember seeing them start out as a PVT, and they used to crash out and mald quite a bit OOCly, but as they’ve played more on the server they’ve gotten significantly better over time. At this point, I think Sev’s chill enough that they could probably handle any whitelist role without much issue.
I can also vouch for their roleplay capabilities, particularly as survivor (don’t ask me why I was in dchat in less than 5 minutes post-drop). They RP competently, and they’ve had some good RP with bad bloods and other predators.
Overall, whilst they’ve had a rocky start, they’ve demonstrated the ability to grow as a player and I think they’re probably ready.
I can vouch for this player OOCly. They’ve improved a lot since I’ve last met them and after some IC stalking, I can attest that they’ve grown from what they’ve used to be.
I also played some HOI4 with them and they didn’t seem like a bad player to me at least.
I’ve butted heads with Aldrik Wynters a few time, which is to be expected because I can be very curt and sardonic; we’ve had full on ‘fuck off’ exchanges back and forth and confrontation especially early on, but Wynters has been a reliable teammate, invested in the objective and a good member of the community. I’m with the others here on the improved interactions, Wynters is a superb IO&ASO, CM player and an attentive and passionate soul. +1
I’m going to Mirror what many have brought up, and what Prescott asked about earlier that Wynter’s had a pretty rough point in the community awhile ago. I myself had a bad encounter with them and hashed it out over the discord post round, ended well honestly. They’ve mellowed out a lot lately, and from nearly all encounters I’ve seen with Wynter’s they’ve been a great player to be around.
Throwing up my first Plus One to an app, interested to see how far they go.
Aldrik has over the last few months quickly grown to be one of my favorite marines. My experience’s with him both in and out of character have been nothing but great. If he continues on as has recently then I have no doubt he will make a valuable addition to the Pred WL.
my absolute goat, as someone who’s working to improve they’ve been my number one example to follow on how to mellow out. Their RP ability is second to none, typing out some of the best stuff I’ve ever seen on CM. Give them a shot and I don’t think you’ll regret it
Well, well, well, it looks like I won the race to get accepted before you. Nah, but without joking, I had you on a recent round of chance claims, and you did RP well with me, and I highly like your story. This guy seems suited to be inside here insulting the Kwii’s, my +1.
From what i’ve seen sev is overall a pretty good person. Regarding the toxic behaviour i personally havent seen any, matter of fact they’ve been nothing but funny to interact with. +1
