One thing about conventional guerilla warfare is that guerilla fighters tend to setup ambushes with traps, strike their enemy and then escape before they can be apprehended.
The thing is I don’t know of any ways the CLF can set traps like improvised claymores and the CLF couldn’t steal marine claymores as they have IFF on them.
Should CLF guerillas be able to create improvised explosives that detonate when marines get near them (similar to claymore radius but maybe slightly weaker), or would it be too unbalanced for the round?
Or are there ways CLFs can create HvH traps I just don’t know of, if so also do tell

Update: Following a round where I was a CLF surv suicide bombed into an LV-624 FOB, blowing up their ammo reserve, killing two marines (one was their only FOB corpsman) and completely emptying an entire crate of intel
it’s worth considering removal

This is the opposite of what would happen if we gave CLF survivors more tools to play with. More content discourages pointless suicide bombings, if the new content is more fun than just dying and sabotaging marines for the hell of it.

Excelent…
Honestly I’ve been asking for CLF trapmaking eons ago because it actually lets them behave like the terrorists that they actually are. The issue is that while a single CLF is just one person, they have the possibility of wiping a whole fobbit squad just because it’s hostile and it’s armed. And while I’d call it “Skill issue” from the marines, literally every other single marine will bitch and whine saying that it’s stupid or broken, and after a while we’ll get a mini cabal of CLF surv mains dedicating themselves to powergame as hard as possible just to get a mini HvH segment where they go full on hotline miami mangling every marine on deployment. Killing the current direction of CLF RP (which barely exists honestly) and replacing it with pure HvH.
Again, I think that it’s fine for literal terrorists to be dangerous, but there’s been a long history of both marine and xeno players hating coherency whenever it harms them.
