We got ground sensors and ARC sensors. Should we have sensors in the Almayer as well?
Is it a good or bad idea? Why do you think it is good/bad?
Currently post-hijack won’t get any marine buffs. Not that it even would be that usefull, Almayer is tiny, to scout entire deck you need 4 marines, one for north maintenance, one for south, one for northern hallway, one for southern.
Pre-hijack also isn’t that usefull, it is usually one xeno, so just give MPs MDs and if xeno abuses pipes, weld and wrench them freely.
But broken prop that was damaged pre-round and admemes can restore? Why not.

Could be integrated into ARES in some capacity, would give xenos an actual reason to die fucking around with a working joe.

Marines already get ARES bio-scans in case the “XENO ON THE DROPSHIP!!!” alarm doesn’t catch them coming up to the ship.
In the unlikely case a Xeno does manage to burst on the ship and escape what is usually a locked surgery room with welded vents then at that point the shipside staff (mainly the MPs) should have to organise to hunt it down and not be hand-held with a sensor tower constantly reporting the location of one (1) Xeno who will die the moment all their weeds are gone or someone with a shotgun finds them. Requsitions can also just give you MDs if you don’t already have one, just ask for one.

almayer doesn’t rly need a sensor tower, most xenos shipside get hunted down pretty easily unless it’s a prime burrower and even then they KNOW where that one is they just can’t hit it

I’d be so up for it to be connected to Ares, and CIC. Having both alive = Sensors or something like that
How am I supposed to decap the CE as a runner shipside, if they have a sensor tower online 24/7 that I cannot interact with because of its position? Feels like we should just make humans unburstable shipside if you want so many counters to it.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand that is funny as hell. On the other Bob is still a marine and along with @Cassie451 we are the definition of Marine Bias.
