I think it’d be awesome to have it so that if both telecoms are held and it’s 2 hours in then marines can get the OP tank. And swap out the over 200 tank for the old apc.

I miss the apc, it was fun to use and fun to see in action. I’d love to have it back or even have a nerfed down but still fun to use/see version in.

ARC is neat but it’s not really fun. To me it feels like a soulless version of the apc

There’s so many other problems though… It’s fundamentally not manoeuvrable enough to survive a full-on xeno attack, you would need to vote a marine to become a tank driver (lrp), or let somebody who’s potentially a complete idiot control it, caves like you said, and marines can’t really push with it if they’re too weak and it’s not survivable on it’s own. I think there’s just too many considerations to have it be good enough to actually feasibly end the round.

“not surviveable on its own” but tanks irl are like that too, dont be dumb dont overextend and you wont die, same is with marines, same is with xenos, positioning matters.!!
and im ok with idiots becoming tank drivers or gunners, same thing happens with CIC… if it was on me i’d just make tank timelocked + tutorial locked before you can play as it…
marines can push with the tank if it has the LTB, i literally made marines push comms cause i blew up anything that stood in our path…

A smarter man would bring up the MOX, which is literally made to take on the biggest Xenos :man_detective: However, the Xevs are keeping the mechs that have been in aliens canon for 30 years away from us, just like everything else the USCM has

Honestly I think the MOX would be super soul, someone gets chosen for it (or some poor soul just spawns with it when research/intel however you get it buys it), timelocked of course, and then from there, they are locked into the MOX and sent at the aliens guns blazing, a MOX or two fighting the King would go crazy

Remove Tank at 200, Replace with APC, Remove Nuke at 2 hour, replace with Fully prept tank, Keep nuke only for Admin Intervention if a round passes the 2:30 hour mark.
