See title. Should you be able to spawn in the hunting grounds with no feasible way of defending yourself, I.E. spawning with a pistol, beanbag slugs, or even no gun at all? I can see that there could be some soul there, but given that it’s pretty TDM and preds aren’t expected to RP very much, I think it’s quite unfair for the player. Any thoughts?

Pistol yes, no weapon at all no, remember that preds don’t kill people unless they’re a worthy threat or something.

I’m trying to speak aside from roleplay. Of course it’s kinda soulful and cool to spawn without good gear, but I just don’t think it’s appropriate for the style of play seen in the hunting grounds

I feel it’s worth noting that hunting grounds are still very new, there’s certainly gonna be balance stuff swept over it all. Especially for shit like beanbags.
The loadouts for people in the hunting grounds if I recall correctly are literally just already existing presets but without a radio or something, like a ton of presets.
Which will take some time to do a passover again

For the ones doing it, they should add a difficulty option to it as well. One that goes medium, hard, hardest with different gear presets. Could be a cool way for preds to show off their skill against hard opponents.
