  • Marines aren’t screaming racial slurs in deadchat
  • Nobody has requested a permaban for “metagaming bullshit” after you kill them
  • You’re not being accused of cheating
  • Nobody’s screaming “macro user” despite you rawdogging WASD like a caveman
  • The guy you killed didn’t ahelp you for “suspicious movement”
  • The admin hasn’t sent you a “just checking this is legit” PM mid-ventcamp
  • You haven’t caused three balance PRs and two ragequits
  • There’s not an ongoing Council discussion on whether Lurker should be removed from the roster entirely

People tend to mald about lurkers alot because they are “unfair” but really its just that they punish solo marines very well, its their intended role to be in the backline, find loners and kill.
To an extent also being pick specialists, knocking down a spec to the floor with a few slashes can give space for an entire push.

Buuuuut because they punish your mistakes, people tend to get very mad about it, because to fix them they have to change their playstyle, or gitgud which they dont like doing.

TLDR: Gitgud, have someone join you at all times.
