Silence mechanic

This idea came up to me after reading the recent pr that plans to re-add stun to heavy revolver ammo.

Stuns are not fun, especially for melee fighters like the majority xenos, and I also do think the heavy revolver being essentially a pocket stun is quite problematic. But at this state, heavy ammo is just bad.

So I have a proposition for a mechanic called silence. This mechanic makes xenos unable to attack or use abilities, but they retain their movement. This way the marines can feel safe and flee . My train of thought mainly centers around the usage for backline transports so this might have a few oversights.

Just add slowdown, or random movement like when you are drunk for a second and then it is all fine and dandy tool that can be used offensively and defensively.

Aimed fire sniper shot does it, so it’s not a new mechanic that way. But you gotta be careful with it, unless you want every caste to suddenly lose their only escape mechanic.

99% sure this is a mechanic already, daze or something like that

I am in for slow but make it scale with armour

I also like slowdown but I am thinking making it scale by tier.

Yeah because I stun xenos so I can feel safe and flee not so I can kill them.
