Description of the incident:

Immediately upon attacking him he pulls out his pistol (not sure what its called) and starts shooting me. He disengages after other xenos show up. Later on I attack him again. I notice that marines have landed while we’re fighting so I leave. He chases me, marines shoot me and set me on fire, I run further away to resist then he stabs me to death while I’m resisting/entering crit. No hate towards the player, just a lame way for me to lose my round.

Most of the damage logs are from Sprdy and the Predator fighting each other but both players are struck by a few bullets, Sprdy the Warrior is struck two times.

I can not find a reference to the player being set on fire so it was likely from a flamethrower which, as far as I can tell, is not logged by the game.

Furthermore the game does not log if a player is trying to resist being set on fire. At least insofar as I can find.

Hi, I was present at both encounters as xeno EEE.

I did not see the beginning of the first engagement located east of robotics (and north of comms dome) however I arrived (alongside carrier ENA) and assisted NTF and the runner already engaging the predator with little knowledge as to how the fighting started. (Nor at the moment did I really care, warriors fighting preds is pretty common after all) Things went as normal from there until the second engagement.

The second engagement began at comms dome, after I called out the presence of a predator there whilst resting to heal from engaging marines at the corp dome. NTF came by a bit later and started engaging the predator just about as marines were arriving at comms dome. They began firing at both me and NTF which prompted me to move back to the yggdrasil tree as NTF continued the engagement whilst moving back. This continued until around the east of yggdrail tree (and at the west nexus entrance) where NTF (and I to a lesser extent, was attempting at least) was engaging Zuran.

At this point some of the marines were close enough to engage and one with a flamer flamed past one of the window frames present at the Yggdrail tree, which I believe didn’t directly hit NTF but NTF walked through - I mostly abandoned trying to smack the pred at that point to attempt to extinguish NTF as the marines were very much about to gank us and I knew it. I don’t recall if they resisted or not, but I believe they weren’t crit when they were in the ‘stunned’ sprite state, so I assume they did and I did see Zuran both engage NTF whilst they were on fire and whilst they were resisting from being on fire, leading to their death.

At this point NTF dies, I grab Zuran to slash them a few times (A bit of a dumb move on my part) get PB’ed by the marines surrounding us and I die as there’s like…seven or so around by then.

I would like to point out real quick that he fired his plasma pistol at least 10 times but I dodged nearly all of them (running erratically), someone from dchat said the pred stated something along the lines of “wow I have to work on my aim”

For the last part, yes it was a flamethrower that set me on fire ^

The game does not appear to log how many times someone fired their plasma weapon, it only logs if they hit a target, or if the projectile hits but misses due to low accuracy.

They fired their plasma caster and hit something around 7 times that round, but all those shots were stun rounds.

Not sure exactly what you’re saying I broke, but you had attacked me again which set off our second engagement. I had enough of your shenanigans at that point and did the majority of the damage to you. When you ran through the fire, you were already low anyways.

The council has reviewed the statements and logs, while no video of the incident is available to patch together the missing logs, the council has decided that this is a breach of Honor Code.

Leaving the first initial fight to recuperate due to the numbers advantage is reasonable. However returning to fight again, not securing the welfare of your prey, and returning to finish the warrior with wrist blades after they have been engaged by another party is not how whitelist holders should act in a round.

This report is accepted and the player will receive a warning for their conduct.
