That i feel like will be a bit wack many of time. i swear the about of times me and a fellow unga drop our M41As and than swap after a queen screech, is frankly shocking how many times it has happened.
Stripping is leaving fingerprints, so it shouldn’t be a problem to find who did that.
Just press F, no need to click on the gun
I mean this is definitely a problem on CM that I see happening a bunch but unfortunately I don’t think it should be an ooc issue. Yes it can be very annoying. But it’s a thing of players should have more respect for each other and just not steal. If someone has gone perma then by all means take their stuff but that’s normal.
I mean I was playing as SG and was in crit after getting glammed by a friendly. While I’m getting treated by a medic the Delta SL runs up and steals my SG batteries out of my armor. No clue why but yeah.
My only thinking why he did that is because Delta SG need batteries?
Stealing a weapon from someone will always be a case-by-case incident. I don’t think there’s a good way to institute (or enforce) a blanket anti-weapon-stealing rule. I would need to look at your specific incident to see whether or not I agree with the staff member’s ruling. There may have been more details about why SmellyHippie ruled the way he did, details to which you were not privy. In those cases, a staff report would allow a third party to examine the way the rules were enforced, and either reinforce or amend the decision made in-game.
If the player did steal your weapon for no reason other than he liked your gun more and you were too incapacitated to stop him, our rules should not permit for that. Either Hippie ruled incorrectly, or there was more to the incident than is being detailed in this post.
Theres a hand labeler in the squad preps for a reason. So that your shit doesnt get stolen. Easy problem solved.
