rule 6

Description of the incident:

marines had lost the FOB and i had died, i was waiting to spawn as an ERT team but forgot i had larva queue on so i spawned as a xeno instead, shortly there after BIZ mentioned we were going upper engi for “A quick lock” which from my understanding would be to lock the lifeboats so that anyone trying to leave on them would have to spend the 3? minutes to unlock them but AA stopped this plan from happening but when we crashed upper medical they still made a small Bline towards the back like they were going to lock the boats but decided against it

Hi its me BIZ, xenos knowing the location of the fuel pumps and lifeboats is not metagaming in the same manner that survivors knowing where every object in their colony is located is not considered metagaming. Simply a part of the game and a plan I made which had to change because marines started attacking the hive.

Well if it just a part of the game then they need to update the “Limted information” part of what each faction knows to avoid issues like this, I was under the impression that yes the xenos know that the marines or “Talls” are coming to the colony but otherwise largely don’t know what the marines are and “Find out” throughout the round, Sorry for the mix up i’ll take the ding for a false report

Hello @SteeleShadow,
First of all, I want to say that all Xenomorphs have a brief and limited knowledge of important aspects for progress of the round. And within this thought, it is part of the general knowledge that the remaining humans are defending the Almayer to enable their escape or self-destruct the ship. In the case of the evacuation, the Xenomorphs know and are aware of the procedure that occurs in the Lifeboats (and the location of areas within the Almayer). In the same way that the Hivemind has a map of the Almayer and the entire colony, the same works for the Marines. As far as it goes, the Queen COULD disable anything with a Console, but the mechanic allows her to do so with the intention to hinder the marines, be it by starting hijack or locking the lifeboats.

The staff team does appreciate your concern with Rule 6, nonetheless, this report is denied.
