Description of the incident:

I was a Warrior who took over the body of another warrior late into a round on Kutjevo, I had died much earlier into the round as a Warrior in medical. I asked the hivemind for instructions on where we are fighting, and was told there was combat at medical, I went there and engaged.

After informing the hivemind of even more Marines pushing into east medical, the Queen interjected and started to insult me for having died in medical earlier in the round. I asked the queen to clarify if they had issued me orders, as I did not recall being given any orders, however the Queen continued to insult me and another player, I believe.

Clearly, the Queen was more interested in their tangent so I asked them to either give me orders or banish me, as I felt this conversation was not a useful one. So the Queen banished me, for the reasoning that I was disobeying orders.

I was subsequently killed immediately by some nearby Xenos.

My issue with this is that I believe I did not break any of the Xeno roleplay guidelines in such a way to authorize/warrant my banishment and execution. I did not insult the queen, I did not disobey orders, I even asked for orders and clarification on what to do. At every step I tried to follow the Queens orders, or ask for orders, or otherwise try to stop this unneeded distraction. The Queen was simply more interested in antagonizing me, berating my performance in my previous life, and then having me killed, removing me from the game.

Even as I was being killed by other xenos, I made no effort to harm them and tried to disengage.

Whilst you could argue my statement of ‘banish me or give me orders’ was a invitation to be banished, I believe in the context of our conversation that this is still not acceptable as I do believe I had not broken any guidelines. I also refuse to believe a small dose of sass is grounds for banishment.

I should also note the queen was overall quite hostile and banish happy throughout the round, though I can not attest to the status of any other banishments in the capacity of a player.

The Queen claimed in dead chat that I was banished for failing to obey orders I was given in my previous life, I stated I did not recall being given any orders in my previous life, and that I would’ve likely been hyper focused in fighting the Marines and I may have simply missed them. Also, I do not believe it is appropriate to banish a new xeno for actions they may have done in a previous life, this verymuch borders on meta-griefing.

Admins can you look through the logs of this round and find the parts where I told xenos to mount at a mark using hive chat and ION and IYR both ignored it to continue skirmishing at medical foyer where logs will show that he roughly died because I rotated to screech and save them because they were throwing three xeno lives away, check logs and all the places they were told to be all round and watch he ignored them all, i ahelped during round because he wasn’t intending to listen to me at all, boiler also suicided after not listening to me either, nobody was berated and I don’t care if you feel you were, an Young XX drone ghosted because he spent 10 minutes of gamers “WHO BTW DONT KNOW HOW TO CLUSTER” to make stuff with 0 effort to help so i told them not to do complain, you immediately started with “i woke up late” i said thats fine but i dont want complaints from these sisters who sat doing nothing. This was me on ovi, watching you for a second time ignore the orders to be at construction and skirmish at medical while we had this converstation you were right by medical as evidenced by your first fucking words, we talked about how your ignoring my orders AGAIN that I restate and then you offerered your banish, the more I write the more I’m thinking of staff report honestly, lock this til an admins deals or some shit because Steelpoint you’re lying like ALOT.

This is last thing, my hold orders were construction, you admit dying in medical multiple times, admit ignoring my resin mark orders, admit you offerered a choice between banishment or let you continue to not listen and got banished and killed, its simple, and as for banish happy? The xx boiler was bored that we had 4 xenos left so i wanted to cap some marines “which worked by the way” and it suicided out of spite, and 2 larva rushed frontline so i banished them to get them to run back, the second one takes over the body, is mature, i see it leave cover and come to do the funny “combat noodle haha” again so i banish it and kill for good.

So basically, I’m enforcing rules admins enforce on me as queen, and your banish was just because you wanted to frag and didn’t care that I had plans despite nobody going queen and me stepping up like 10 minutes late because of the whole “not me not me” attitude.

Heya! Sorry for the delay but I should be able to handle this now.

I’ve looked over the logs and began diving a bit more to see about some stuff that was missed like the queen placing markers and such.

From what I can see there wasn’t anything relevant before the marines started pushing far into medbay and the queen started to get involved.
I can see you fighting and dying west of the queen, and where she is holding. (A little bit east of where you were fighting in a defensible spot) The Queen talked about it via hivemind, used a word of the queen to announce that the xenos should be pulling back and a Ravager placed a marker near the queen.
I get that you probably missed the queen telling you to move there but it is still clear that you did miss the orders that were given to you.

So after your death you join again later as another warrior and ask where to hold.
I can see the argument you guys had and I do think the queen is decently justified in getting upset with you over the argument.
Both of you were snarky towards each other and the queen banishing you over that argument seems justified enough in my eyes.


So yeah. I’m going to be denying this report. I dont see any of the banisment rules being obviously broken here. And I also think the queen was justified enough in her banishment.
I get that it might seem heavy handed, and I sort of agree. But in my eyes it is justified with the attitude that the two of you were showing to each other, you ignoring the orders earlier and you inviting the queen to banish you while talking with her.
