You have the right to feel however you wish, but really what did you expect the outcome to be? An apology? A humble massage to make you feel better?
CIC that round was just me alone and a SO in training. Therefore what you said was quite frankly directed at the CO directly.
Despite that, we managed to put in every tactical option for your squad Alpha, including you, to reach the hive core at least 3 times and fail to take it down because they could not commit to a push numerous times. While Delta was pulling the queen and the T3s away on the south side it was in fact your job to push. So understandably the order you would be receiving is in fact, to push.
But that is besides the point.
The point is that anyone playing command is there to organize and run the round. Whether you feel good or bad about it, they are not held accountable to the opinions of an Alpha specialist. The CIC is not evaluated by the Alpha Specialist.
Now let me show you the BE clause under which your instance goes under, referencing the CO Code of Conduct:
Aside from the conditions outlined above, Battlefield Execution may also be issued to punish LRP behavior, out-of-character or meme references, and explicit adult content, in order to preserve the integrity of the roleplay environment. Whitelisted Commanding Officers are entrusted with this authority and are expected to exercise sound judgment. The use of Battlefield Executions is monitored by the CO Council, and any abuse of this privilege may result in severe disciplinary actions, including removal from the Whitelist.
We call this the anti-shitter clause.
Walking up to the CO, during the exact moment the dropship is about to crash, specificially for the one reason to tell them “Hey just wanted to drop by real quick to tell you that you were shit today, because you told us to push despite that being what we were supposed to do, but you already know that you’re shit anyways don’t you?” constitutes for plain malicious LRP behaviour.
This is not constructive by any means and adds nothing to the round. And I don’t really understand what you expected the outcome of that to be.
But let me make it very clear.
The players in command are not there to take your opinions or feedback, so it’s best to keep your feelings to yourself. They’re there to organize and play their part in the round and are not there to deal with low-level trash behavior like that, whether you like it or not.
Please avoid doing that again in the future, because you will likely receive the same response again.
