Synthetic Info:
Name of the Synth Character you wish to play:
Mitch
Provide a short description of your synthetic’s backstory
Mitch is a generation-three synthetic produced by Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The primary usage of this model is serving as an assistant at various manual labor jobs, such as oil rigs, mining camps, greenhouses, construction facilities, and sometimes, auto-shops, as well as other examples, although he is rarely involved with operations due to risks of damage or even loss of the synthetic unit. Due to this, he is usually tasked with performing tasks that would be considered a waste of human potential, as the majority of these locations prioritize efficiency. Instead, he is posted on tasks such as administration, inventory management, finalizing and receiving supplies, and on certain occasions, financial situations.
Describe your synth’s personality without mentioning their skills or previous professions
Mitch is an energetic, yet patient synthetic, thriving to be a reassurance and helpful hand to those who need it, as well sometimes trying to make the people around him feel confident in themselves, an example of how he would do this is through praises.
He usually took interest in reading magazines when he’s not busy with whatever duties he’s been assigned. Mitch takes preference in magazines with crossword puzzles due to the distraction and entertainment it can offer.
Mitch prefers to be more social, offering small talks with people around him when there is an opportunity to do so.
How would your synthetic interact with enlisted personnel, officers and civilians? How could you involve your personality into these interactions?
Mitch refers to enlisted personnel ranked below NCO ranks with a more loose and less serious tone, usually with their surname and chatting with them, enlisted personnel with the rank classified as NCO and above, he’ll refer to them by last name or rank, though still holding the energetic tone as with regular enlisted personnel. With officers, it gets serious. He refers to officers by their rank, followed with the last name, barely letting a loose tone out, depending on the situation. Civilians will be referred to by their first name, but usually he shows respect by referring to them with their last name.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
During my time with the Yautja WL, I have gotten an interest with roleplay, and after playing a bit of WJ and synthetic survivor, I have noticed that this WL offers that and maybe even more. This has motivated me to try and keep going with the applications.
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
Synthetic Character Story:
Skills:
How familiar are you in CMs support roles such as medical/engineering/requisitions/command and which of them are you more and less proficient in?
I’m most familiar in medical, especially around chemistry and treating players. Engineering and requisitions follow suit, like APC repairs and barricade lines. I know requisitions, making it semi-doable solo on low to midpop. Command is the one I know least, since I rarely play XO or SO.
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
scenario 1 - Synthvivor - The colony survivors, including Mitch are barricaded at their hold in the LV-624s jungle. A survivor has gotten pounced and is now being dragged off. This permits the synthetic to attack the xenomorph and hopefully deter or disable the threat to the survivor.
scenario 2 - Backline - Mitch is traversing the backlines with Intelligence Officers to hopefully restore secondary communications and the sensor tower, which is why the synthetic is there. A few backliners begin harassing the squad, to the point where one IO is in crit and the other one has major injuries. The critically injured IO is getting pulled away. This lets the synthetic pull the IO away with the covering fire of the combat-capable IOs.
Scenario 3 - Code Delta (hijack) - During hijack or any other delta alert scenario, the synthetics combat restrictions are rescinded to ensure the priority of self-preservation. The synthetic is wandering the ship, deterring xenomorphs as they go, until they stumble upon a hold or injured marines, which is something they should still prioritize, even with the change to their combat restrictions.
Scenario 3 - Code Delta - (Groundside) - The synthetic, including some other marines scattered along the colony have been abandoned during planetside evacuations, which falls under the code delta restrictions as well. The synthetic attempts to reconnect with the remnants of the marine force, during this, some forsaken xenomorphs harass the synthetic. This lets the synthetic attack and deter them, even allowing them to chase down the threat as long as it doesn’t compromise the synthetic’s self preservation.
