Alright I know we want tank to be watered down but like c’mon.
Tank literally will be slapped if it charges a rav/queen that deals x2/x3 damage against it and the hive usually breaks the living shit out of it if it charges.
Keep the snowplow but give the tank the choice of brute or acid protection

Reinforced Armor (brute)
Bio Protection (Burn)
Tank crew’s should get the choice of improved bio protection or improved brute armor.
Dont charge any xeno with the tank- Its fire support, not a shotgun rifleman.
If you die to a rav or queen with it, you just fucked up. Skill issue.
The way tank armor works rigth now makes armor a no no. The armor module just makes it that it takes damage above anything else. Could work, yes. But survivablity isnt really a problem rigth now. A good crew makes the tank able to survive the round easily.
The tanks weapons need to be rebalanced above all. People are only using the autocanon really, thats bad.
So the TANK is not supposed to TANK damage… you are SUPPOSED to frontline with it, every vehicle nerf was to APC and colony vans to discourage frontlining/bodyblocking
Hive having 5 ravs all hedgehog at 200 round pop is somehow a skill issue for Tank
the armor taking the hit was how it was designed, survivability is the problem, 1 minor xeno push and the tank can be knocked out of the round permenantly from a warrior, 2 drones, and queen in under 10 seconds
If tank is supposed to be squishy it shouldn’t be 3x3 entity. Rename it to tankette and make it 2x2. Something that takes almost 1/4 of a screen and is slow shouldn’t be that easy to kill.
At this point minor balance changes won’t do shit. Tank needs a rework.

Besides. A ligth tank isnt supposed to be tanky. Its basicly only there to carry the gun on it.
The guns do need some buffs though, im working on that. One step at a time.
