See the title. Who the fuck watches or enjoys new Alien Universe movies, anyway? Do you see people lining up to make content about Alien: Covenant or soon-to-be-released Alien: Morbius or what that new movie will be called?
Is the newest batch of content going to be made following a lore example of what appears to be iCarly in the Aliens universe? I understand basing the content after Aliens (1986) and AvP games, but honestly the franchise is cooked so hard it might as well be a charred slab of carbon now.
Sooner or later, Contributors will have to start adding content from other franchises, which is pretty much already the case (Vampire, for example, is clearly a reference after some of the capeshit movie characters - literally unbeatable!!!).
You may keep your original Aliens-esque aesthetic, while allowing for original lore, of course… Isn’t that why the Definetly-Not-Xenomorph sprites exist?
To recap, I suggest basing the server around a fictional Terran Government. Maybe add pods into the game instead of paradrop, or something. I think “TGCM” would be a cool name, you dig?

When I hear of George French, I think of a man who sincerely plabs and speaks from his heart about issues most people wouldn’t even consider. This is a man who brought his vision to the masses and made a revolutionary youtube channel that did what no other channel did before - post CM SS13 clips from the game called Colonial Marines: Space Station 13.
