I dont believe any of those allegations were ever explained to anyone outside of a very tight circle of select staff including fire in spite of requests for an explanation.
He was never removed from the game prior and as others have noted i dont believe hes been banned before. As stated prior by the Discord Manager, the community itself does not want him gone. He has a high degree of respect from the playerbase and many folks that know him, in direct contrast to some that have made the decision.
What is visible, is that select staff apparently do want him removed, and this served as a conduit for them to do such.
Im my mind, the report itself is valid, and is entirely truthful when looking at it without any former context, personal feelings, or intonations. The second weapons selected for the A.W. naming nomenclature have been shown on shows like forged in fire, a prominent blacksmithing show. Only when forcing the narrative and injecting personal opinion does it become anything else.

In all seriousness, yet another sketchy permaban, for a person who did seemingly nothing wrong beyond having a slightly controversial A.W. last name? Worse yet, a full-on game ban too.
I have zero idea who’s the player and the person behind that report, but being him must suck right now.

I hate how hard it is to criticize management when the punishments are not public in any sense, and painted by bias (of both sides).
And I don’t like the idea of “CM as a business, so what i say is right” being the way it is ran - it is clearly a small community and rules and rulings should serve to uplift the community, regardless of personal biases.
Really though I’d just prefer leaders of the community to serve with clearly good intentions. I don’t think that’s much to ask for - and it may just be a problem of my interpretation of things, which can be solved with clearer communication.

I thought this post was a meme but you all are actually discussing something? Anyway this community has long gone full 1984 just look at every recent action took by staff, they just keep banning everything: the r-word, discussing notes/bans, the shitposting channel (real), etc etc.
When all you got is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
