Me and alpha marine take off our gear and step in ring, put on our boxing gloves. Bravo SL adjudicates. We go hard, it’s evenly matched. The crowd is cheering. More people come to watch. After a solid fight, it’s declared a draw. Machetes are tossed into the ring. Escalation. Me and alpha marine agree to cross blades, give the people what they want. The crowd goes wild as we start stabbin. I accidently left my harm intent on head instead of body. I absolutely slice the guys fucking head off in front of the crowd. Crowd goes wild! I’m in shock. People are stunned. Not meant to go down like this. Marines scramble into the ring, taking the dead Marines body and head away in different directions - later to be discovered in the trash disposal. The Co arrives with MP’s. I hand myself in, admit accidental manslaughter. CO doesn’t want to hear it. You’re going perma pal. I walk with the MP to the brig and give up my gear. As I turned myself in willing he doesn’t take my clothes or headset. I’m getting cheers over coms for an honourable duel. I check and still have c4 in my webbing. Could escape if I wanted. Not gunna do the Mp dirty like that. Mp explains my charges. I gently contest, stating it was accidental manslaughter. Mp is open to it. I ask for a lawyer. Time passes. Mp brings medical chief. The chief interviews me, did I switch my intent to head mid fight. I explain i did not, left it on head by mistake. He asks about the lacerations on the Marines body, I say I can’t account for those, maybe post-mortem interference. Results inconclusive, but the chief says he’ll vouch for me, and to not make him regret it. Sweet, I’ll walk free. Time passes, mp appeals to the captain. Sentence overturned from perma to 20 mins. 30 mins pass. No sign of mp. Will I die on here from nicotine withdrawal? Fear is real. An executive officer shows up. My mp cry’od, but lucky I had my headset still, so he heard me ask why I’m still in jail. Let’s me out..I deploy, probably won the whole round singlehandedly after that I don’t remember.

I was a doctor for this round I think and I couldn’t believe we already had a dead marine like, 10 minutes in. Best side plot ever to happen
